SCOTT C after further searching I found that the SL 974 has a .65x power and the SL 973 is only .55x power also the SL 973 has a increased angle of 43% while the SL 974 is only increased by 33%. so

It does work with the SL330, I am not familiar with the SL974 though, but We really like our SL973 it's wonderful close up.
KEVIN K Yes, the SL973 is the wide-angle lens for the Reef master Mini and the newer Sealife Mini 2, I have both of these cameras and the lens fits both.
I don't know the difference between the SL973 an d the SL974, I only have the SL973 lens.
The lens snaps over the camera lens and has to be purged once the camera is submerged by unsnapping the lens and snapping it back in place to allow water behind the lens, or your pictures will have dark shadows across them.
Another lesson I learned from experience is do not trust the plastic snap that come on the lens lanyard. I placed a plastic tie through mind after I lost my first lens.
