The AERIS Gyro octopus swivels 180 degrees, making it ideal for emergency buddy breathing situations. No longer does your buddy have to fight an uncooperative hose while trying to put your octopus in his/her mouth. Why add more complexity to an emergency? The Gyro adjusts to meet the situation's need. The Gyro is low-profile, which reduces drag while you are on the surface and at depth, and is nitrox compatible to 40%. The high visibility cover and yellow hose make the Gyro easy to find when needed.

The unique side-exhaust design of the Gyro Octopus means that there is no "right-side-up" positioning. There is no concern that a panicked, out-of-air diver will position the regulator incorrectly. The Gyro Octopus maintains the same high performance as your primary AERIS regulator, even when upside-down. The unique and patent-pending inline swivel feature of the Gyro Octopus provides ultimate comfort and flexibility. Whether you choose to mount your alternate air source on the left or right, over or under your shoulder, or even upside-down, the Gyro Octopus performs as well as it looks.

Adding to the Gyro Octo's rugged durability and ease of use, a large integrated purge button eliminates the possibility of free-flow caused by trapped sand and is easily accessed in an emergency, even with the thickest gloves. The Gyro uses a dependable downstream demand valve design, has an orthodontic mouthpiece and is lightweight and compact, weighing only 5.8 oz (164 g) and has a 3" (7.6 cm) front profile. The Gyro comes with Aeris 24 month limited warranty.
