JASON R No, these boots are nothing like the DUI boots. I have owned both so let me try to briefly explain. The Pinnacle boot is smaller in every way. It fits better in fin pockets but it is also very narrow and takes up less space BUT I found them to be so small and narrow as to be uncomfortable and impossible to get my foot into when I had on my dry suit sock etc... despite ordering 2 sizes larger than my normal shoe size. Too bad as they are a nice little sneaker style boot compared to the DUI boot that is more like a canvas converse sneaker style boot. Basically, the DUI is bigger, takes up more space in a fin pocket and is a more basic design but unlike the Pinnacle boot, I could get my foot with socks and dry suit over sock into a DUI boot with no problem. The Pinnacle boot runs VERY NARROW by design IMHO even if you order a bigger size it seems the Pinnacle boot doesn't get much wider even when it is getting longer. When it comes to dry suit boots, a little bigger can be dealt with especially when you need more layers but too small even by a little is a PITA if even impossible. All that said, it is a great price on a nice boot so maybe if you order a larger size than you need by at least one or two sizes then it might work. LP has a great exchange policy. Good luck!
