I used this product as an added layer under my wetsuit for warmth while scuba diving and it did make a noticeable difference in keeping me warm. I have another similar shirt of just neoprene that doesn't measure up to this one. The inner fleece feels warm even when it is wet, so you can do multiple dives in a day without waiting for it to dry. It is a little difficult to put on at first until you figure out how to do it. It does feel very snug, but once in the water you don't notice it much. Follow the sizing charts provided, if it is loose it won't keep you warm.

Bought in advance of trip to Indonesia. Due to sizing issue used return policy 3 times to get best fit. Size S fit everywhere but chest. Size M still had restricted motion. Size M/L fit through body, but big gap at neck and shirt was down to mid thigh. Seems to be cut for a more boyish figure. I have an hourglass figure. Despite the fit issues, I bought the item and used it on almost 60 dives over 3 weeks in Raja Ampat, Lembeh and Bali. LeisurePro was great about getting new item to me before trip. H2O temps in Indo. mid to low 80's. Easy to put on shirt when dry, but much harder when wet. Did not dry between dives, but not too bad. VERY easy to take off wet or dry. After 1st use I noticed snagging due to velcro on BC and rough benches on boat. It snagged on everything. I don't care if it looks new or used, but durability of outer skin is poor. In water, warmth about same as 2-3ml suit (might have been better if no gap at neck. Best news, reduced lead from 6 to 4lbs. People on boat were intrigued by suit and one other diver had same. We both had about the same experience with it. Hopefully the company will make some improvements in fit, sizing and durability. I dive a lot so I am sure this suit shirt and other Lavacore products I purchased will wear out before I do. Better to wear them under a skin to protect fabric. I will recommend this product solely for the buoyancy and warmth characteristics.
