Shopper what is the weight of these fins? I want something very packable -- short and lightweight.
ROMANO A Weight: 26.7 oz (pair)
Length: 15.5"
Width: 8" (widest part)
Height: 3.5" (stacked together 4.5")
They're only good for swimming in a pool, though. They're inadequate for fighting current in the open ocean.
CHRISTOPHER P Not sure of the weight, but they are very light and easy to pack. I use them mostly for freedive training in the pool and think they work very well. I have packed them into a carry on bag without a problem. Also, a very comfortable product.
MARY S Yes, I ordered them for a trip to St. John last spring - they did the trick - super light and good for snorkel trips on the island. I own the really long fins which can get you places faster, but they are cumbersome.
These were great and when you are trying to stay under the 50 pound limit on suitcases, it is a trade-off that works for me.
PHILIPPE M I purchased them for my children, although when we got them they felt light enough. On another note, my kids say that they really like them and are easy to walk on a pool deck without tripping.
Happy shopping!
ANDREW P I don't know the actual weight, but my wife finds them great for travelling -- light and small. Note: she only uses them snorkelling -- too small for diving.
JAN B These fins are very packable. "Lightweight" is a good question, mine weigh about 1.5# without the insert. They are always in my gym bag as they take up very little space and I consider them not heavy at all. I have never traveled with them but they are certainly short enough to fit in just about any carry on size luggage, at 8" by 16" by 1.5" each they are reasonably small. They should make great protection for anything crushable in your luggage.
JONATHAN W These are very light (just a guess, but probably no more than 2 lbs. pr.) I bought them for my son, he has outgrown them, and now my daughter wears them. They are tough, let me tell you. No slacking in quality. But I will say that the actual fin is rather short if you are looking for true snorkel fins. More like a pool fin or swim trainer actually. Don't know what they will be used for...But...
Hope this helps.
JOHN P I have a couple sets of these fins and they're great, easy to use, work well etc. but to be honest I do not know how much they weigh, it isn't much. I would say they are short and lightweight, very easy to store/carry. They would easily fit into a standard backpack. Hope this helps.
WILLIAM T G I bought 2 sets of these fins for my grand kids. They are great, I bought them for the pool but we also use them snorkeling for lobster in the keys. The kids have no problem getting down 10 feet to catch a lobster with them. They are very light and don't take up much room. I give them 5 stars, you will not be disappointed. Capt Tad Fl Keys........
LISA D These fins are quite light -- weighing only about 1.5 lbs. They are short and easily packable.
ALLISON R They are super-light and packable because they are TINY -- the blades are very short. They are smaller than most fins designed for snorkeling, and depending on the conditions they may be too small for your purposes. They're good for exercising in the pool or could work if you were doing VERY leisurely snorkeling.
