MATTHEW P Im a bigger guy (6'5" 250lb) and bought the 2 man just so I would have plenty of room to ride alone. It is great for 1 person or 2 person. The center hand hold offers NO problems what so ever when riding alone. Hope this helps. Its a great tube and glad that I spent the money and purchased it.
