Questions about this item:
CJ C hi what sizing is available? looking for a small mens or med womens
David R We do not stock these drysuits as they have to be special ordered once you place an order and the MFG is heavily backordered on them so can take a while to arrive once ordered.
Shopper Does this suit come with any undergarments? If not, approx how cold. of water would it be comfortable with as a standalone?
TIMOTHY S The suit does not come with any undergarments. While the outside has been durable, it is thin. In just a T-shirt and shorts, you could be comfortable down to about 70 degrees depending on how thick-skinned you are.
With just a sweatshirt and sweat pants you'll probably be comfortable down into the high 50's. Below that, I'd recommend layers or heftier undergarments.
VICTOR P The suit does not come with any undergarments (unless they are thrown in as part of a deal or package). A DS, especially this has no inherent insulation and does require some undergarment for comfort and insulation. You can call Pinnacle for more details.
RICHARD H typically a drysuit does not come with any undergarment.. Leisurepro sometimes does a combo package. the shell with shorts and a long sleeve tee shirt is okay for a dive in 68+ or warmer degees. I typically get colder quicker than most and 68 wasn't bad with shorts, socks, and a long sleeve tee shirt. I'd recommend a sweat shirt, and maybe long johns or jogging pants for an extended dive. I'd dove the drysuit with a 250-300 count undergarment down to 46 degrees, and with a hood, and gloves, it is great. hope it helps.
OMAR N Well in any water you can get cold even in a drysuit. i would say high 60s is the lowest i would go with no undergarments. but spend the extra money get a good one. i dove in ca so it was cold as hell but the undergarment made the dive more pleasant.
MICHAEL L suit does not come with undergarments. i use the merino undergarment bought seperately, which is very warm in a water of 50 F. have not tried it stand alone. highly recommend an undergarment, keeps you nice and warm.
BRAVEN B Mine did not come with any undergarment. It is a trilaminate shell drysuit. All the insulation comes from the stuff you wear under it. As it is, I would not expect it to be very warm, but if you wear clothes or a wetsuit under it, it can be quite warm. I have used it in flowing rivers at about 38 F for several hours and been tolerably warm (with some short breaks out of the water). I would size it to accomodate insulated clothing, like polarfleece, down vest, etc. under it. It does keep you totally isolated from the cold water from the neck down except for your hands which helps alot over a thick wetsuit.
JOSEPH C This suit does not come with any undergarments. It will not be very comfortable unless some sort of undergarments are worn. I have tried a one piece fleece but found it too restrictive. I currently wear a two piece insulated underwear. Then layer it with heavier Fourth Element under garments. I found it much more comfortable. I can wear this combo in water down to the 50's.
Hope this helps.
Shopper Does the suit come with an inflator hose?
If not, Does the quick-disconnect hose (SKU: AQULPH) sold on this site work with this suit?
Thanks
STEVE U Mine did. I'd call LP directly to verify and ask for their best price. Yes, the hose is just a standard low pressure inflator hose though.
JAMES T You need one that will go under your arm . This will keep it tight and away.
SKU PIN33IH works very well. JT When I got it, it came with one.
All you have to do is call LeisurePro and they will tell you if it comes with one or not. These guy's know their stuff. Very pleased with the service they do.
MATTHEW M I believe mine did. I bought this over 2 years ago. My memory is a bit fuzzy
BEN W Doesn't come with a hose, but the quick disconnect should work with it. They're supposed to be standardized.
SHANE S Mine came with an inflator hose from the site. Very happy, will do business again.
JEFF M Yes, it came with a hose, hood and bag. So far it has been a great suit. Many dives in 48 to 50 degree f water.
JOSEPH C My drysuit came with an inflator hose. But the inflator hose is the same s a BCD inflator hose. Hope this helps.
VICTOR P Mine, I beleive, came with a QD (quick disconnect) LP (low pressure) hose. The only reason to get another is if you need a different length. Call Leisure Pro or Pinnacle if you want to make sure - that's what I would do.
STEPHEN R yes it comes with a hose
MICHAEL F yes it comes with inflator hose
RICHARD H The package I bought came with one
SVETLANA S Yes, It comes with a hose. And yes, regular BCD hose would work.
SEAN A Mine came with hose. But and standard bc hose should work.
JOHN S Yes they do come with a hose, you can also use a standard bcd inflator hose but it will be shorter.
Shopper I am 6'-1" tall and 175 lbs with a shoe size of 11W. What size should I order?
BRAVEN B I can't say about the height, but I am 5'8" tall and about 165 lbs, 40 in chest, 32 in waist and 30 in inseam leg. I have the ML and it fits great. Realize that I bought mine for use in cool and cold river situations so I routinely wear thick clothes under it. Mine is large enough to wear long johns, fleece pants and snowboard pants on the lower body and long john top, sweatshirt, down vest and heavy fleece jacket on upper body. It fits well and is adjustable for less clothes with the suspender straps and crotch strap. It is easy to get on and off and has been suitably durable so far. I have a DUI trilam suit at my day job and I like this Pinnacle better. It is heavier cloth, better cut, and easier to get into and out of by myself. Overall, I would definitely buy the suit again.
MIKE W HI I AM 5 10 AND ABOUT 195 LBS SIZE 10 FOOT I HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM IN SUIT WILL FIT UP TO 6 FT 2 IN. I AM AT THE MINIMUM HIEGHT IT HAS LOTS OF ROOM LEFT TO GROWOR WEAR UNDER GARMENTS FOR WARMTH MINE IS A MED LARGE
SEAN A I have size ML. it fits me great, but I'm 5'8" tall and about 195 pounds. You ought to be able to use a large without a problem. Although you don't want a lot of excess in the suit (the excess will compress to some extent), it's much worse to not have enough room. also, if you have a bit more excess volume in the suit, you may need a pound or two extra on the weight belt.
VICTOR P I am between 6'2" and 6'3", weigh about 210 and have size 11 foot and use the XL. Best is to work with the Pinnacle size charts and call Pinnacle if needed.
ED M I would say probably a large.
Shopper I am 5'8" - 172cm hieght approx weight 160lb -80kgs waist 36" 90cm chest 39" arm 22" 55cm inside leg 29" what size would you recommend ?
RICHARD H I am 5 10", 180#, wide shoulders. The ml gave me plenty of room even with the thickest under garmet. The med should , fit fine. Keep in mind it will compress under water. Go to local dive store and try one on, they fit mostly the same. Allow size for under garment. Have fun!!
HORACE J It sounds like you would need a medium but i would check with a rep at Leisure Pro before ordering.
RUSSELL C I would call pinnacle and ask them directly.
They were very helpful when I bought mine, they will give you the run down on the various size options they have.
SHANE S I am 5'10 and weigh on average 160 lbs. I have a medium and fits perfect. I would suggest a medium for you. I would recommend this drysuit and very happy with it.
JOSEPH C I would suggest ordering a Large short. I am 5'7" and 190 lbs and wear an EX.Large short. It is a bit long but comfortable with undergarments. Hope this helps.
VICTOR P Do the best you can with the fitting dimension charts (given here or on the pinnacle web site), and if in doubt, give pinnacle a call.
JOHN P I would try the Medium. I have a Large Short and it fits perfectly. I'm 5'11", 240 lbs, 38 waist, wear a 44 jacket, 32" inseam size 11 shoe.
Make sure you have enough room for undergarments and enough room to move around comfortably. Try doing jumping jacks and squats in it.
You will want to wear something over the neoprene socks like rock boots or an oversized pair of short neoprene booties like I do. You can walk around in the socks, but they will wear through. I just wear a set of booties one size up.
If the Medium doesn't fit, you can always exchange it as long as you don't use it. I first tried an XL and it was too big.
Good luck. Safe Diving.
JOHN S A medium should be good. I am 5'8" and 165-170lbs and 30iin waist. If you think that you could gain wait then a large short sould be the next choice? I was a LS 20LBS AGO AND3IN ON THE WAIST.
LEX V I'm 6'5 and 260 and I followed the advice about making sure the height was right so I went 4x I find the suit very large and am pretty sure I could have done 3x. If I were into ice diving the extra material may be useful so your milage may very. It is a good heavy duty suit and I have had no problems with it.
Shopper I am 6'4 260lbs what size would you recommend?
LeisurePro S I would recommend an XXL.
Shopper What size do you reccomend for someone 5'9" and 160 lbs?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the medium.
Shopper I am 6'2" and 175lbs. What is the recommended size?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a large.
Shopper My height is within the range of 5'5 and 5'8 and my weight is between 135 to 155, What size shall I get?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a size small. The suit comes with attached neoprene socks, but if you want formal hard soled boots, you would have to order them separately.

The front entry Freedom 2 Dry Suit is an excellent suit for any diver who prefers a lightweight, flexible, low maintance suit. Despite its lightweight and economical price the Freedom 2 provides the best ratio of features to value in a dry suit. Suit is equipped with a diagonal front entry YKK-BDM type self donning zipper. Its design and flexible trilaminate material utilizes a butylrubber center layer that bond the rugged polyester/nylon exterior inner and outer layers. Suit comes standard with neoprene socks attached complete with rough-skin soles. Internal elasticized waistband and suspenders improves fit and comfort. Right leg includes a large pocket with sealing flap and Velcro closure. The Freedom includes high-end features that are normally only found in suits costing twice the price, yet the suit leaves you with savings to apply to your next dive trip!
