ROBERT A Yes, in fact boots would be a strong recommendation for this suit.
PHILIP M Yes. You can get them used for less at Leisure Pro. if you can't afford them, I've seen guys use cheap rubber, or rubber and nylon combat style boots and drill holes in the soles so the water runs out.

RUSSELL L Hi. I'm 6'1", 270 lbs. with a 42" waist, 48-50" chest; and 12 shoe. My questions what size would be best for me. I'm shorter than most of the sizes that the weight matches up to. should I just go with the size that matches the height or the weight best?
JOHN F In my case the suit sizing chart ran smaller than actual. I would go larger than you think you need.
MIKE E I used the bare size chart I am 6'1" 165 with 34 waist I got a lg and love it had to trim the neck seal but that's normal other than that very comfortable for the price 15 dives with it and love it
MARK R HI Russell, sorry I cannot answer the specifics about size. My son purchased on of these suits and he is 6'3' and about 210 lbs.
I purchased another one of these suits for my wife. the women sizes did not work due to her body size. We used the men's sizing chart. the first suit was too tight. We senty it back and re-ordered the next size up. I went with a sizing that was in excess of the chart size and it worked out well. her leg length is a hair long but she has had no problem. IF anything order the suit and if it fits fine. If not send it back and get the next size bigger.
Both love the suits.

HIGGINS, D Hey Russell, I am 6'4" and bought the XXXL. I think the XXL would do for you. TYhey are plenty big enough in the chest area, I am a 48". I feel this is a great suit and the price is fantastic. I dive year round in Maine and It meet all my needs. Ice diving is cold, but in this suit I stay warm. I use it year round as the waters below 20Ft here are still in the 40's in most lakes and the ocean. Good luck and dive safe!!! Scott PADI OWSI
KRISTIE W I'd go for the height measurement. I'm 5' 8" and I bought an XL and the height is just right. Even the ML size is too short for me. The feet are definitely stretchable so I'd worry the least about that.

RICK N Mind you I am just another customer that happens to dive this suit. I was 5' 9 1/2 and 230 when I bought mine and went with the XL short, and it works fine still even being 20 pounds lighter.
Reading your description there are many things pointing to 3XL. I mean you are a big guy and if your chest is as big as you say, then the bigger the better. Also you have to consider shoe size, and the 12 is in the 3XL range.
Lastly, substantial breathing room will be desired considering undergarment. I dive in the PNW and its a little chilly in our waters and this requires pretty thick insulation so the extra room is welcome.

JURAJ M sorry man can't tell you, I am 6' and size 10 shoe, but generally I'd say bigger is better then smaller, at least that is what girls tell me.

When I got my dry suit, LeisurePro's policy allowed you to return it free of charge if it didn't fit, and they would replace it with one that fit. If that's still their policy, you can't go wrong by ordering it. If 3xl is their absolute largest size, however, and they can't give you a proper fit call them and ask if you will be responsible for any charge by returning it. I've always found them to be very informative and helpful.

Probably too tight, because if you are diving in real cold water you may, like I, wear wool or other heavy socks inside your booties and that will further enlarge your feet. The beauty of LeisurePro, however, is that you can try them on at home and, if they don't fit, send them back for a larger pair of rock boots.

ROBERT A I normally wear a 9.5D or 10D shoe. I do not remember what size Trek Boot was shipped to me with my original order, but it seemed a bit loose. Leisure-Pro promptly replaced them with a size 10 & it fits fine.
My suit was a large, regular. I am also 5'-10, about 190 lbs.
Dave B I have not seen the material of the suit, is this suit material suitable for commercial diving eg hazardous, cold water etc ?

I have found that this dry suit is well suited for any application.
The materials are very durable and flexible, as with all dry suits, it is a

It is a nylon/polyurethane laminate, thin but durable, excellent for recreational diving. I've done about 50 dives in it, including ice, wreck, and cave diving. I've also done light commercial-type work such as scraping boat bottoms, cleaning the platforms at Dutch Springs, PA, setting buoy lines, 200 pound lift bag work, etc. I would not use it, however for heavier commercial work involving welding, torch cutting, handling frayed steel cables, or in water with oil and harsh chemicals. Crushed neoprene suits are tough and withstand abrasion; rubber suits are also tough and are a good choice when chemicals, oil and fuel are present. Unlike neoprene, rubber suits dry quickly so they can be repaired fast in the field. Both these type suits are heavy, but the Bare 2007 Nex-Gen is lightweight. For the use I put it to, I am very pleased with its performance.

JURAJ M I don't remember which size I had but I sold it quite some time ago, did not like to dive in it, I remember that the cut was not very well done. Would not buy it again.
JAMES W I am similar in size, and that suit fits me well with the polartec thermals. This is a good entry level dry suit for the money, however if you are going to be doing technical bottom work, i would try to go the extra money up front and buy a more durable suit.

MARK A dont get the short depending on your diving when it gets cold you will wish you had the extra room for underwear also many shops sell suits tight tell you its better for stream lining this is bs a suit is desighned to but a cushin of air or argon between you and the water if its to tight defeats the purpose of the suit alsoyou dont need a shoe horn to get in to it
this was a great suit for the buck bought mine in 08 the seals held up to this year great just started showing sighns of cracking easy to repair if you snag it on a wreck little glue and a bike tube patch and good as gold

ERIC L The suit should fit OK, I like mine a little large because I use it for work and need to move around underwater without restrictions. The only consideration I would look at: The neoprene foot is thick enough to add two boot sizes if you are going to wear protection on your feet. I have a size 12 foot and need to wear 14 boots over the dry suit, this makes it difficult to find comfortable fins. I would have rather had the thin silocone feet installed so I can wear my regular boots and fins.
JALMAR A Hi Chris. Go for the M, not ML. I am 6 tall, 180 lbs 40 waist. Also get the MT-100 underwear, size M too...dive safe.
JALMAR A Hi Chris. You will make a good purchase. I've been using mine for 3 years and completely dry. Make sure you put powder on the rubber seals constantly, lubricate the zipper and keep your finger nails short. Regarding the size, I would say a medium would be better for you. I'm 6 tall, 180 pounds and 40 waist and use Medium Large size for the suit . If you buy the Medium Large, it will be too big for you, even with the fleece. I would greatly recommend the MT-100 Polarwear size M for you. I use it size ML...these under suits are extremely comfortable and will keep you very warm. I dive in Boston harbor. Take care and dive safe.

LeisurePro S They are more like a regular sock than anything else. They have some structure, but not like a boot.

Shopper I had two questions. First I'm 6'0 and 1195lbs and a size 10 shoe. What size suit would work for me? 2nd, I use the apollo bio fins with spring straps now with my wet suit. Will I have to use a bigger fin size for this boot?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the Large Tall. The suit comes with a neoprene sock rather than a normal boot, so I think you should be okay with your current fin/boot combo.

LeisurePro S This suit comes with a thick neoprene sock for the foot which you can wear a boot over. The only problem is that this sock on a 2X suit is size 11 and would probably quite small on you.
