The six LED's (Light Emitting Diodes) have up to 100,000 of life expectancy and will burn approximately 24 to 100 hours depending on the battery make and the mode selected. The Lithium Glo-Toob uses a CR123A 3 volt Lithium battery. The different modes you can select from are: equal flash, beacon strobe, fast strobe, slow strobe, SOS, pulse, half flash, bounce, ramp up, 100% constant on and 25% constant on modes.
It should be noted that you cannot see the light from either the IR-875nm or theIR-950nm with the necked eye; you can only see it when using night vision goggles or gear (NVG) designed for the wavelength. To test your Infra-Red Glo-Toob, point your digital camera or video camcorder at the activated Glo-Toob and you should see it working on the display screen.
