Shopper Will it fit a BC, regulator, mask, boots, and snorkel? I wasn't quite sure of what a full set of basic gear included.
CYNTHIA B Yes. All of that will fit in there. I have a compact bcd but I think a full size one would fit in there with all of your other things as well. I took my mask out of its case and wrapped it in my swimsuit to protect it.
ANDREW C Purchased two of these last year, carried only the reg in the bag plus clothes and camera equipment, we generally use the larger Akona bags for the other gear (BCs, fins, wetsuits, etc). Based on out use, it will carry all items that you mentioned with the possible exception of the BC, that would be dependent upon what you have, ie, travel, lightweight or regular. First two might fit, standard BC may not, or may take up the entire space.
Bags were excellent, easy to handle, fit airline requirements/restrictions, and have side pockets for smaller items, books etc, would be careful with either crushable or breakable items if placed in the side areas, however
MARK C You'll be close depending upon the BC and type of fins .. but no way will you get a wet suit in too. It is a nice bag but really should have been a touch larger and even then, it still would have met carry on luggage requirements.
RICHARD W I purchased 2 of these bags last december and they are awesome. A complete set of gear (BC, reg, booties, mask, gloves) fit into this bag perfectly. Have used it on 2 dive trips (Phillipines, Hawaii) and was very glad I had used this bag as my carry on, because the airline lost my luggage and didn't find it for 3 days, and I would have lost three days of diving (15 dives) if I had left my gear in checked luggage!! I guess I could have rented gear from the dive shop, but I prefer to dive with my own gear so in my opinion this bag is definately worth the money!! To have piece of mind that your gear will make it to your destination safely and on time is priceless.
SHERYL W This bag can hold a full set of gear (mask, fins, boots, BC, regulator, wetsuit, etc.). If, however, your BC is larger sized, it might be difficult to fit everything in. My BC is a womens size small and it fits nicely. My husbands extra-large BC is too large to fit in this bag.
LARRY M A full set of gear will fit. The fins are the biggest issue but it is doable. I put my whole set of warm water gear in the bag.
MICHAEL J This baG has very limited use for dive travel.
If I had it to buy over again I wouldn't.
My two cents.
STEPHANIE E While I'm loving this bag as a carry-on, it is a tight fit (like sit on the suitcase to close it tight) if you want to fit BC, mask, fins, boots, and snorkel. Of note: I have pretty big fins but a small BC.
I'd get a bigger bag if you want to carry all your gear in one container--there's no way a wetsuit would fit in here with all the other gear. You might or might not be able to fit your regulator in here with the other stuff.
But it's a great little bag with sturdy wheels and a handle that's tall enough for me to use comfortably. I love this roller bag-- just not for all my gear at once.
THOMAS M Yes, easily, My brother talked me into buying one. He gets all the above in, plus his 3mm wetsuit and split fins in it. He has to fold his fins at the ends, but he does it. You will also be able to put stuff in the front and side pockets like paperwork, airline tickets etc. He carries it on the plane no problems and packs his clothes etc in a small backpack so all of his luggage is carry on, no checked bags! I do have to mention he is a minimalist, but this is for 2 weeks in Cozumel every year! His B.C is a Zeagle Ranger.
WILLIAM C Yes, it will fit a BC (especially lighter/travel types), mask, boots and snorkel. You might get a few smaller items such as bathing suit and tee shirts as well. It will not fit fins.
LYNN S Yes. I pack fins (short fins), BC, regulator, mask, and 3mm full wetsuit.
