Shopper Will this bag carry a full set of scuba gear including mask, snorkle, fins, regulator, BC and booties? Thanks much. Lizzi
MARTIN W Hey Lizzi,
This is a pretty small bag, with demonsions to accommodate international flights. I can fit my back inflation BCD, reg/octo, and a few other small items. I just don't see how you could get a mask and fins in it with BCD and reg. You may want to think about some other bag it getting everything in the cabin is your goal. Good Luck
CHRISTOPHER S NO, I COULD NOT FIT MY FINS (MARES) IN. MY BCD (DIVERITE TRANS PAC) TOOK UP ALL THE ROOM.. ONLY THINGS I COULD FIT IN WAS A 5 MM WET SUIT, REG SET, MASK, AN SOME SMALL ITEMS. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AS A FULL DIVE BAG.
JOHN W I have a scubapro blackhawk bc with air2 second. I can get my bc, reg, mask, snorkel, safety sausage, booties, and a small light in it. After this it is stuffed, impossible to fit anything else, and definitely not fins.
MICHAEL D No,
I think you could get the mask, snorkel and regulator in. Booties maybe, BC no and fins no.
The internal size of this bag is less than I had hoped. The handle structure eats into the usable space. It will pass the carry on requirements and I intend to use mine for getting the extra stuff to my destination that will not fit or I don't want in my Oceanic wheeled duffle. I was having a problem getting the weight of the duffle under 50 pounds so hence this extra bag.
JAMES H It will carry a BC such as a Zuma travel BC, but you'll have a tough time with a full-size BC. Forget about fins - it's not a long enough bag. My wife and I both have one of these bags and we pack our fins in our large suitcases. Everything else fits. But as I said, if you have a regular-sized BC, it's a tight squeeze. Overall though, I would rate it a 7 of 10.
STEVE P It's not long enough for fins.It would hold a travel bc and the rest beside the fins.
