Rubber is too weak

Comments about Cressi Fins Spring Straps:
The rubber is way too soft and weak. When you pull on the loop, it stretches out a few inches without budging the spring. I haven't broken mine like the other reviewer but have just replaced them with better spring straps (stiffer rubber). I never actually used them in the water, that may have been a disaster.

Yes the construction was very poor. I got ahold of Cressi and they have redone these straps, and are shipping me a the new ones at no charge to me. the new construction is a whole lot better and more functional.

Had to buy Cressi spring straps to fit "special" Cressi fin buckles. These fin straps are NOT functional at all, unless you don't want to have a finger pull to be able to pull them on. The pull was made from a very VERY flexible rubber. So flexible, that it pulled out several inches when I tried to pull the straps over my heels, and then promptly broke. First time! No good!
