WALTER W I wear a size 11 shoe in US and my Cressi fins are size 10-12. I wear a pair of thin Lycra dive socks with them to make them fit a bit tighter and to prevent excess rubbing/blistering.
VICTOR H I wear a size 7.5 US & the smallest size fits me perfectly. You should probably get a size 8-9. I also use fin-keepers with mine, as it helps from getting blisters, even when I wear socks with the fins. Happy diving! Aloha.
SETH W I wear shoe size 9.5 and my Gara's are 8-9 42-43, fit perfectly. So I would imagine the size 7-8 would be a good fit for you -- you don't want them too big. If your foot grows much you may have to replace them, but if they don't fit now what good are they?

MARY C I use these with the blue reef booties. I wear a womens 7 1/2 and use the 7-10 size. Round slightly up as the booties will compensate. These are my very favorite fins. I free dive and they hold up far better than any of the others. Good luck.

STANLEY C In October I met one of the best freediver/spearfisherman in the world. Toto is on the Italian National team. He uses the Cressi 3000.
I have never used the Professional.
I am very pleased with my Cressi 3000.
Shopper I wear a women's shoe size 7, is there a way I can get away with wearing these without dive booties, or will I always have to since the size only comes smallest 7-8 in mens?
NATHAN Q They also make little rubber bracers that wrap around your heel to help small footed gals fit into these. They're pretty cheap and I have loads of girls come out on the boats and use them to great success. It'll work until these companies figure out that there is a huge market for small-footed women that can kick our butts freediving.
PAT T you can wear them with or with out booties ...depends on how tough you're feet are and what kind of diving you do, if you just sightseing,taking pics etc. then u do not need booties...if u are wreck diving and spearfishing I would absolutely use booties just for ankle protection.....I do not use booties persay but use 1 mil. socks,these are great because it is like wearing no booties .This is how I use them for all activities,just order them alittle larger than you' actual foot size.....the best thing to do is try on a pair with some 1 mil socks on (or 2mil) and find a pair that fits snug but not too tight or too loose,U will know when u find the right combo....P.S.....I dive offshore from mayport ,FL. and even in the coldest months I do not need more than 1 mil socks and I am cold sensitive....good luck and happy diving... you will love the Cressi 3000. great fins....Pat

VICTOR H I wear a 7.5 shoe, so, yes, I think you may have to use a bootie with them. I just wear thin ones, but for you, you may get a blister if you don't wear them.
Shopper Okay so i just got a size 12-13 in the mail today and they are just a bit loose... would the 10-11 be to snug? how big is that jump between the two offered sizes? id hate to order again and have the opposite problem
JON A I have a pair of these fins and use them 3to 4 times a week. my shoe size is 9.5 to 10. I have size 8-9 fins and they fit fine. I would recomend a tight fit to a loose fit every time
ERIC M I'ts quite a bit of a jump in size. If it's only a bit loose I suggest using socks or thicker socks if you already using one. Good luck.
ROB R If they r only slightly loose u could try wearing a light pair of dive socks. These r great fins and they should fit snuggly to get the most efficiency out of them. I wear mine a size smaller. Shoe size 10 fin size 8-9
CHRISTOPHER P Yes buy the smaller size. I traditionally wear size 8.5 - 9 in shoes. My fins are 7-8. They feel extra snug or tight outside the water. Once in the water it feels normal. Have had them for years.
JIMMIE E I intentionally bought mine a size larger. I also bought a pair of aqua socks to wear with them and it worked out very well
LES L You want the fin to be snug with booties you will diving with! It will help with energy transfer to the fins, very important with freedive fins! So yes
JARED M I wear mine with scuba socks and the fit is perfect (too loose without the socks and rather uncomfortable too). The scuba socks make them fit snug and without the discomfort. I suggest trying them with scuba socks before you buy a smaller size.
Shopper I am 16 years old and new to free diving.... i wear a size 11 mens and am still growing... do i get size 12-13 and wear socks until i grow into them or 10-11? Also, i have slightly wide feet... do i need to be concerned?

Yes, I would go with the larger size if your just 16 and wearing an 11! I use thin rubber booties with mine all the time to prevent blisters because I stay out for 3-4 hours at a time swimming from shore. I'm a size 12 1/2 to 13. You can use socks until you grow into them. Enjoy and respect the ocean! Mike
RUSS M Not sure where you dive, but up here in northern California socks are a must. Even when I swam w/ these fins in Florida I liked having the socks for a little bit of cushion. Makes a big difference w/ the longer fins. Booties will NOT work with these fins, regardless of size.
WALTER W Yes, get the size 12-13 and wear dive socks. You're fine with the wide feet...great fins!
PAT T re cresssi: gara 3000,get the size that fits you the best, "11" after a year or so of hard diving you will have just about got all the goodie out of them.* dive hard dive often........you;re feet wiill not grow that much more,maybe a half of a inch at the most .... by then you will probably want a new and different pair....i love my cressi 3000's,,,,,,
JENNIFER T I bought the fins in size 12-13 and I have a size 12 foot, but I still found them to be tight so I would say for you get the 12-13, and then you would still have that little room to grom.
GEOFFREY W Depends on where you dive (water temp). Personnally I dive mostly norhern california so I always wear socks. I would buy slightly larger and wear socks.
CHRISTOPHER P Where the size that fits snug to your foot. It's hard to forecast your final matured size. As you grow you may need to buy new ones. So consider buying used for now or later. I don't recommend wearing any socks, but that's just my comfort level; slippage and chafing my occur. My foot is also very wide, but these fins fit fine once in the water. If you do opt for the larger size, then get fin stays. I love these fins. They're a great buy for the price. Try them on before using them incase you need to exchange for different size.
JIM O I tend to like the full foot fins a little tight. No adjustments so a size larger and socks may not cut it. I do wear a pair of neoprene socks with mine. These are great fins.
JONATHAN B I wear 10 size shoe, they seem to run wide anyway. I have to wear 2m socks to help keep them on. Leisure pro would take them back if they are to small. I love them not to hard on the anckles.

STEVE N I would go with the size 8. A loose fitting fin looses energy and makes you work harder. It also fails to transmit fine tuned movenent. For example a slight ankle flick will move you in a properly fitting fin while not spooking the fish that you may be hunting.

AMADEO S I wear a size 10.5 and I took a 10-11. I wore mine with an O'neill tropical ST surf bootie and I got the snug fit I was looking for. I have an average foot, but the Oneill booties have a lot of rubber on the sides, probably takes up at least as much width as your 5mm socks. I would recommend the 12-13 size for your foot.
Lawrence Z I've got the same problem. wide feet, and they worked OK.
TRACY S I doubt it. The boot is made for bare foot and it is quite a tight (but comfortable) fit. Go for something with the strap.
Michael R how does this fin perform?
JONATHAN B I love them, great price and soft enough that they do not fatigue the legs or anckles. I have to wear a 3m sock w/ them cause I have a between size foot. I would buy them again If I lose one.
MIKE T Hey Mike, I bought these fins about a year ago, not having ever used a pair of the long free dive fins. I do mostly freediving combined with a lot of swimming around on the surface since I usually swim off the beach and not off a boat. I mix up my kicking style to avoid tiring out my legs. I love these. They have absolutely cut down on fatigue and the occasional cramping I was getting after 3 or 4 hours out on the water. They work good when I'm doing my frog kick as they are stiff enough. Take good care of them though as I have seen the long blades snap right in the middle after a couple of years. This happened to my friend.

CHRISTOPHER P It performs great. Best fins for the price and very comfortable. Most of my diving crew have been using them for years. I used them in a freediving course and as a matter of fact the instructor, who is a multi-time world record holder, was using them in the class. Professionally, I think he uses the Nemo's. But the issue with those and others like it are the fit and comfortableness of the boot.

LeisurePro S I would recommend the 8/9. Ordering smaller for closed heeled fins is normal as you don't have the adjustability of open heeled fins and you want to make sure you have a good snug fit.

Shopper Cressi-Sub Gara 2000 or 3000...what are the differences? They both get great reviews.
LeisurePro S The main difference is the material they are made out of. The 2000 is a stiffer fin, allowing for great propulsion and more thrust. The 3000 is softer, easier to move through the water and causes less fatigue.
Shopper what size fin should i get? i tried my friends cressi 3000's on and they were a 10/11 and it was a nice snug fit. now the fins i have now i wear a 3mm booty. Would the 10/11 be to small with the booty? should i get the next size up?
LeisurePro S I would recommend staying with the 10/11. They should fit over your booties okay and a snugger fin is much better than a loose one when dealing with closed heel fins.

LeisurePro S The LD is identical to the other fin, but made out of a softer blade material which allows for longer use without becoming tired.
