Questions about this item:
Shopper Why Did You Choose This?
ROBERT B great price--good fin
HEATH M these fins fit in most travel bags. and are flat so they are easy to carry
Shopper I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?
MIKE T Seemed like the best value. Thought the thrust/performace w/ be very good. Also the strap design looked like the best for the $. After using them in Hawaii & the Caribbean it has proven to be so. Very happy with the fins.
THOMAS J I chose the Frog for several reasons. First, cost is relatively low. Second, I wanted black, not some neon color. Third, I don't like vents in fins, I think they are a gimmick to charge more money. Fourth, it has a good sized blade and good stiffness for power. Fifth, Cressi is an old company with a very good reputation in the business.
I like the fins, but I would add that the foot pocket is a little small. I wear a size 10 (US) shoe, but the size Large foot pocket is just a bit uncomfortable with regard to width. I have to loosen the strap for donning, then cinch it tight after I put them on. The quick release is excellent for removing them. I can foresee keeping these fins for a long time.
DJOKO S Hi,
I choose this fin because of its price, size, look. Unless you are professional diver, it performs pretty well too. Size and shape is just right so you can put a pair in your luggage without any problems.
Hope this helps.
ED D I love these fins. They are a bit on the heavy side, but you get great thrust for the kick with these. They're durable, pretty easy to get on and off, and the price is right. Don't hesitate--go for it!
Mike H I wear a 11 USA size. What size should I get in Cressi Sub which is not USA?
MIKE T Sorry I don't know about size, but these are very good fins. I would recommend them for their performance for the price. Great value.
Monica s You will need a Large/Xlarge.
Shopper I wear a size 9 shoe and am purchasing 5mm boot. What size fin do i need?
LeisurePro S i would recommend a medium/large for a man, a small/medium for a woman.
Shopper My shoe size is (mens)10.5 ... I want to purchase the TUSA Imprex 3mm dive slipper (what size?) and THEN ... what size Cressi Sub Open-Heel Frog fins? Also my wife is a size woman's 9.5 ... same two questions. Thanks!
LeisurePro S For you I would recommend a medium/large in the fins and a 10 in the boots. Your wife would need a small/medium in the fins and a 9 in the boots.
Shopper I wear a size 10.5 shoe and a 3mm boot, what size do I need?
LeisurePro S Medium/Large
Shopper Do I need to wear boots with these?

The Cressi Frog Fin has been a classic in the Cressi range for many years and has a huge following from divers in every corner of the planet. The fin is skillfully made with a combination of a strong copolymer and a soft elastomer. This Composite design delivers efficiency when kicking and exceptional comfort.
The blade originates from the upper part of the foot pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared to a traditional fin of the same length. A pair of medium-large Frog fins is about 8.5 inches wide by 25 inches long and is made of a Copolymer called ethylene-vinyl-acetate. Ethylene-vinyl-acetate is a state of the art plastic that has good memory. The materials memory allows the fin to snap back into its original position or angle without "going flat". This creates a comfortable gentle kicking fin that delivers nice power, without inducing leg cramps.
Running nearly the fins outside blade length are raised, rubber-like ridges. A pair of smaller ribs runs down the fin's center. These stiff ribs channel water onto the fins blade. As water streams down the leg, it continues in a smooth transition across the length of the fin. There is no water hydroplaning or skidding on either the up or down stroke. No hydroplaning means better power and control for the diver. Each kick's up and down stroke are power movements and drag is minimized.
The Frog's innovative computer designed foot-pocket further aids control and comfort. The pocket's top edge is lined with comfortably soft, curved, rubber-like techno-plastic. Its bottom portion extends back about four inches, giving support under all or most of your foot. When your foot is supported, more of the power from your leg and foot is transferred to the kick.
The Frog is heavier Cressi model. A Heavier fin is more durable and useful for the working diver or instructors who demand strength and comfort. The Cressi Frog also works well when wearing a dry suit or thick cold water wet suit, very popular also in diving schools and excellent for rentals.
It is easy to walk backwards or sideways in Frogs. Small bar-like treads on the bottom provide traction when standing on a slippery surface. The impact resistant plastic quick-release buckles are easy to operate, even with gloves; buckles have a sleek finish and reliably locking mechanism to lock the strap in place. They buckles rotate an impressive 300 degrees, so no matter how high your arch or how high your heel strap is worn, the buckle rotates for a non-crimped, perfect fit.
