Wilson Z Does this watch will respond to Japaness signal (JJY) ?
DON M The same time tick that keeps my watch on time also originates from Japan.
DON
QUAN N it will respond to the time calibration signal transmitted in Japan, according to my watch manual.
KEVIN M I have used this watch in Hawaii, Belize, and California. Works fine in those places.
MICHAEL S Yes, it does respond to the Japanese signal.
LARRY H Yes, and in comes set with Tokyo as the default city. It will receive from either the Fukushima (40kHz) or the Fukuoka/Saga (60kHz) transmitter in Japan. If you change the home city to one in the USA, it'll switch to the time signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado.
JUAN CARLOS M I wore this watch when I visited the Philippines in September 2011 and I couldn't get a signal from JJY. Perhaps it'll work the closer you are to Japan.
PAVEL S it two band watch.USA and Japan. It pick up signal in California.Iam sure wach pick up signal in Japan.
GORDON D. S I really do not know. I would suggest checking with Casio Customer and Technical Services.
PATRICK M Yes responds to Japan and US signals. Japan signal broadcasts from Fukushima, do not know if it is still transmitting. I think Japan has another signal transmitter in the south but not sure.
DAVID P I honestly have no idea,
I live in MN and in order to respond to the Japanese signal it would have to be within range of the broadcast signal and being a Hemisphere away not likely .
I do love this watch.
Nevrer have to take it off
SOON C Don't know. I'm in the US. Never try.
