Shopper Hi. I weigh 108, have a 30inch waist, and am 5 ft tall. The size I think I should get, 6, requires a waist much smaller. The other dimensions all would fit. How important is the waist size? What size should I get?
DENISE F I wouldn't worry about the waist. It fits perfect and I am 115 lbs and am 5 ft tall. I would get the size 6.
MEREDITH F Hi! Your waist is less important than the chest and hips. You need to be able to breathe really comfortably and you need to be able to have your hips work well in bending over. It is better to focus on those. The waist will likely stretch to fit OK, the fabric is pretty stretchy and forgivable. I LOVE my suit and it is way more stretchy, warm and comfortable than three others I have had. The water 'locks' at the wrist and ankles will keep water out and keep you warmer. You can always try two suits and return one or go find a shop and try a brands sizing, then order the best pricing online. I've been diving about 20 years.
