Just started diving and this is my first wetsuit. I'm a plus size (5'8" tall, 18-20 on bottom and 16 on top). The fit was perfect, even in the hips. Easy to take off and on and very comfortable.

Not very impressed by this suit. Going by reviews it should be the best suit ever, but this 3/2 version turned out somewhat uncomfortable and extremely difficult to don for its thickness. In fact, 2009 version of Bare Sport (a cheaper alternative) fits better and comes on much easier.

I bought a 14+ for surfing and diving. I used it last week to surf. It was great. I did not have any trouble paddling. Looking forward to diving with it.

Comparing Bare Velocity 3/2mm (2007 model year?) to 2009 Bare Sport 3/2mm and Bare Elastek 3mm. Although Velocity is made from 'Progressive stretch' neoprene it is way easier to get into 'Standard stretch' Sport model and of course top of the line Elastek. 2009 suits feel more comfortable, are much easier to get into without breaking a sweat and stretch way better even in the same thickness. 2009 Velocity suits are now available.

This was recommended to me by LeisurePro as I wanted an easy on/off suit for a 7 day trip to Bonaire. This was my first full suit. It was perfect for 80 degree water 2-4, 1 hour dives a day.
