Shopper I need this BCD with my drysuit. I am 5'6'', waist 32, Will medium be big enough to use with drysuit? Will it hold at least 30 pounds of wt?
CHARLES S Use the sizing chart for Bare. This bc does have extra adjustment at the back of the waistbelt. I was right at the limits between two sizes and bought the smaller after talking to Bare because of the extra adjustment in the waistbelt.
I have used mine for drysuit diving and it was fine. I am not sure how much weight it will support but I have used up to 24lbs. The weight capacity should be listed in the specs. I love mine, but, did have a factory recall shortly after purchasing due to a bad batch of plastic in one of the bleeder valves. I spoke to Bare and they told to keep an eye on it an send it back during the off-season and they had it back to me before the next season. Bare has always been helpful to me when I contacted them directly. I know this was a long answer but a bc is an important decision, so, I figured I would let you know what I know.
MARK S This should fit fine. I am 6' 185 lbs 44 chest 32 inch waist and the medium fits fine for me. I originally ordered a large and I was able to adjust the shoulder so it fit reasonably well. The cummerbund adjustments on the large couldn?t be adjusted any smaller so it fit snugly. you can put 15lbs in each of the quick release pockets and 5lbs in each premanent pocket on the back of the BC.

CARTER L if you get the weighted been bags, yes you will be able to fit them in... there are also additional weight pocks on the pack if you need more weight room
