i didn't like it at first because it seemed a little tight. But i've been told that it just needed to break in. My body is a bit slender with a long limbs so the suit seemed slightly small height-wise. But after getting in the water, it wasn't bad at all. With a skin, its very easy to put on.

Quick overall summary is that I don't recommend this shorty for SCUBA diving although it will work good enough, but it will work perfectly fine for snorkeling in the tropics. It will also work fine for water sports like skiing, wake boarding, and surfing in warm waters that don't get cooler than 70 degrees F. For [$] with a 24 month warranty, I don't mean to complain but I do point out a few short falls in my review.I used the 2mm shorty SCUBA diving in Roatan, Honduras, which is in the southern Caribbean, and it worked fine for me. I don't get cold that easily, so diving with shorty was fine for me. I hardly had a problem with getting chilled, even when diving at 120' for 10 minutes. The water temperature there never got below 75 degrees F, but it can feel colder the deeper and thus further from the sun you dive or else diving at night was the only time I got chilled because there was no warmth from the sun. I know women tend to get chilled more easily so a 3/2 full dive suit would probably be best for women diving in the tropics, and have a light hood if diving at night. One problem with the shorty, that I did notice until I was in Roatan, is that it doesn't have any reinforcement on the shoulders, which is a key feature for SCUBA divers. I only did a week of diving in Roatan and the shoulders on the shorty are already getting worn from wearing the BCD. Should be fine when I'm snorkeling in Turks & Caicos for 3 months though. But if I do wear a hole in the shorty within 24 months, I'll try and get a replacement because it has a 24 month warranty.Another issue is that I'm tall and skinny (6' 2", 160 lbs) and so the medium large was recommended to me. When I first got it, it seemed to fit fine, but once I was diving, I noticed it would have helped a lot if it was a few inches taller for me. Maybe the large would have fit better, or maybe the large would have been too large. I don't want to pay for shipping back returns, so I'm sticking with what I got.
