The perfect size. It's small, but large enough to see easily. I have it attached to my pony tank and mostly use it to see my psi before plunging in. On my first dive, my guage did flood and salt water did get in and it stopped working. I sent it back to LP and they replaced it free of charge. Ever since, it's been working fine. Must have just been a lemon.

A Pony Bottle is best when you don't need to use it. I've been diving with just a first and second stage and have never needed to take a breath off my Pony. But I charge the line and vent after a dive so I do use air and after several dives there is some amount of air expended. I use my primary rig to determine how much air I had if I remember to do it. I finally did the responsible thing and got the Pony air gauge and I'm glad I did. It is small but functional and LeisurePro had it at the best price and they always ship promptly. In fact four hours after I placed the order I got an e-mail notice that it was shipped! Couldn't ask for more. It's one of those things that fall into the category of 'why didn't I get it sooner'!

When attaching the gauge to your stage 1 just make sure the spanner used is thin, otherwise it won't fit between the gauge and the reg when tightening.

Bought this gauge to use on my ponybottle so i didn't have a second hose to tie-up. My gauge reads about 300 lbs. under what it should be..EX.3000lbs.. it reads 2700lbs. but it does streamline your equimpment so i'm happy about that.
