I've worn this a bunch of times now both here in CA and in Hawaii. It provides great sun protection if your out of the water or at the surface and some thermal protection if you're in warmer water. I've also layered it under a wetsuit in cooler water.

Does not itch or chafe. Great UV protection. Fits perfect. I purchased this product to wear under my BCD. In warm water, even a sleevless shorty is to warm for me. I perfer to just wear shorts and this shirt. It keeps me cool and does not let my BCD chafe my upper body.
