I've owned nearly a dozen BC knives and this is easily my favorite so far. The knife itself is a great design, but the locking mechanism is the best in it's class. I've used knives that were difficult to remove, and knives that were too easy to remove and eventually fell out as the mechanism aged. This one is the perfect blend - and a great deal for titanium on top of that.

This knife is nice and so is the sheath. The knife locks securely in the sheath. However, the mechanism that locks it requires pushing upward toward the handle to cause it to release. This means the knife almost certainly requires two hands to take the knife out of the sheath. I have to push the button up with one hand and pull the knife out with the other hand. I wish they made the mechanism to push the other direction, toward the tip of the knife. Then the knife could be pulled out easily with one hand by pushing down on the mechanism with the thumb while pulling the knife out of the sheath.

I have not used the knife enough to comment on its ability to resist rusting. So far, it looks like it will be good in that department.

The blade would be perfect if it were 4" long. I like a shorter knife, but this one is a bit on the short side for me. However, having to choose between a 3" blade and a 5" blade, I choose the 3" blade.

Comments about Blue Reef 3" Mini Titanium BC Knife:

Though I haven't been able to dive with this knife yet it looks like it will do the job if I ever need it to. The blade is small enough to not get in my way, it appears to be durable and made of good quality. The grip is comfortable and the sheath locks nicely as well.

Comments about Blue Reef 3" Mini Titanium BC Knife:

haven't used the knife in the water yet but it has a nice easy grip and is pretty sharp. the holder is a little tough to remove the knife from (good, as long as you're careful and focused). might be a little cumbersome with thick gloves on. the knife is compact but not so small that you're unable to handle it easily or keep track of it. great knife for the price.

Good little knife. Im not a fan of the big knives so this 1 was perfect for me. The serrated part of the blade is not sharp but other than that is great.
