Questions about this item:
Dennis T I am 5'7", weigh about 190, chest size 44-46, and my inseam is 30". What size would be recommended?
MARIO R Mario
GOOD I MEASURE 5 `10 ``, WEIGHT 220, BUT SHE BUYS A SIZE TO ME XXX BUT I RAISE WEIGHTS I AM WIDE AND IS FIT, MY BROTHER DOES NOT RAISE WEIGHTS IS AS YOUR AND IT HAS LEFT OR SIZE XXX COMPRATELO XXX THAT YOU HAD LEFT OR
JAMES E Xl fits well...I also bought the shorty and it's even better and easier for carribean diving,we dive Cozumel a lot...hopes this helps...Jimmy
MARK C Couldn't say, I'm 6'2" / 225 lbs...sorry
Shopper Are the sleeves & leg cuffs finished with o ring or elastic to seal or are they just raw or sewn over?
Also please described the neck opening.
CAROL A The wrist and leg cuffs appear to be "hankerchief hemmed" that is rolled twice and then stitched. There is no elastic. The neckline is also double stitiched and then a 2-3 "piece has been added to make the suit fit farther up on the neck. That small piece has a "raw" edge. Hope this helps.
SCOTT T The wrist and leg cuffs are folded over and sewn. There is no elastic or o-ring to seal. The neck opening is raw, as with many wetsuits. A good no-frills wetsuit that gets the job done. Comfortable as well and seems to be well constructed. Mine has lasted around 50 warm water dives over 5 years and still going strong.
RAJMUND S There are little orings but nothing special. neck opening doesn't have any special seals either.
JOHN O The wrists are sewn over and not a smoothskin seal. The neck has a 1" high collar that seals pretty well.
MIKE B The cuffs are sewn over with nylon, but the neck is not. They don't have latex gaskets, but it's not intended to be a dry suit. The zipper is not waterproof either. The cuffs are wearing fine on mine after almost 4 years, but I haven't worn it much the past two seasons for a variety of reasons. The neck is starting to come apart from abrasion in front. The nylon webbing strap on the zipper pull came off once, meaning I couldn't get it off by myself, but luckily I had a friend who could unzip it for me. The fit is good on me, and has better range of movement than my shorty wetsuit at the arms. Definitely worth the price.
ALDO C Elastic ring sewn over, no rubber seal on the 3/2
JAMES B The sleeve and leg openings are finished with a nylon or polyester binding with double-row stitching. The neck opening is a neoprene collar ring (wet suit material) with raw edges that are very soft and do not chafe the neck.
RICHARD T They are finished with a thin layer of neoprene wrapped and stitched over (i.e., capping) the ends. It is not a tight o-ring like I've seen on some Mares suits, but is tight enough around the ankles and wrists to seal and the stitching is still holding. I have worn this on two liveaboard trips with about four dives per day (50+ dives) and it still looks and works like new. Hope this helps.
JON D They have a "ring" finish, not just hemmed and sewn, but it isn't a real tight seal, either. The neck has a finish band of neoprene, but it has streched out on my suit (after about 100 dives).
JOSEPH P Remember this is "wet" suit, the cuffs are snug but not sealed. They are sewn over. I have all NeoSport XSpan suits and cannot say enough about the quality, fit, stretch and looks. Try it, you'll like it.
Shopper looking for watersport suit for teens that will be in NW Florida panhandle water. Avg water temp is 64. Is this wetsuit suitable for surfing, kayaking, skim boarding in that temp? Buying for 4 kids, don't need $200 plus suits for one time trip...
DARRELLE W Purchased this for our son-in-law. He has not actually used it as of yet however, we just returned from scuba diving in Bonaire with water temperatures in the mid 80's wearing 3mm suits ourselves and would not have wanted anything less. Not sure this is going to be quite warm enough for those temperatures.
CRAIG P The 3/2 should be a nice wetsuit for kids providing good flexibility in the legs and more warmth in the torso. Although somewhat thin for these water temperatures it should be adequate as they will be active with these sports.
RICHARD B I bought this suit several years ago & predominantly use it in the Florida panhandle. It is usually suitable for the cooler water temperatures. It will be cold when you first enter the water, but the water trapped in the suit will warm within a minute or two and it is great after that. It is not suitable during the summertime because you can get overheated in it.
DENNIS J This suit is what it is. An inexpensive suit that is good for warmer waters. I used it for diving in the Caribian in water temp of 80 deg. I don't think this would be good for any type of water colder than 75 or so.
JAMES L I've worn the heck out of this wetsuit. I primarily use it with students in the pool because I didn't want chlorine to ruin my expensive warm water wetsuit. I've used it for three years and plan to get at least two more years out of it. It's not quite as comfortable as the high dollar stretchy ones but I think it's a terrific value. It's not quite warm enough in the 64 degree water that you're thinking of - if you were diving or snorkeling. But for surface activities, I think this will be just the thing.
ANTHONY S I would think this suit would be a bit chilly in 64 degree water, especially with prolonged exposure. It's a great suit for the price but it's really for the low to mid 70s in my opinion.
WILL W might be OK. might want to rent if only a one time trip kids grow out of suits every year. if you buy get the cheapest you can as they will grow out of it 10 times faster than they will wear it out.
Shopper What water temp. is this suit rated to?
BRUCE R I find this suit best when water temperature is 75+, if you add a vest under it it is good to 70, also look at the Pinnacle suits, they are a much better material and come in more sizes and fit true to the size chart
FRANK W This suit is good for fall and springtime temps in the southern (Exumas) Bahamas 74 - 75F. We us it for spearfing and go out for 3 -4 hours at a time and it serves us well. In the winter there, I need more so I wear the Neo Sport shorty over this suit. In the Summer, just the shorty. Great stiching and nylon II covered neoprene.
DOUGLAS M Hi i AM Doug , I wore mine in June in about 54 degree water and had no problem . I think they say it good for the high 40's I'vlearned you can also wear a set of thermals also or if in really cold water you can just slip on another suit that is like 7 mil. Mine fit just fine and was easy to put on as for a first timer.
DAVID P this suit can be comfortably worn with water temperature in th 70's
Eric I I don't know what its rated to, however I would feel comfortable in wearing down to high 70's
Shopper I'm a bit under 5'6", 160#. What size would you recommend?
RONALD R I purchased this jumpsuit in 2008 and I got an XXL. I am 215 and 6'1".
I would recommend a large. The best way to measure is to go to your local dive shop and try it on. Great suit
Teresa A I am looking to get this suit for my two sons...oneis 105lbs and 5'3 1/2 " inches and the other is 144lbs and 5' 8 1/2" inches. What sizes would you recommend I get them?
WILL S I would probally go with the XS and SM. There is also a size chart you can go by, Start with gettingt there measurments and order according to the size chart from your sons measurments would acctually be the best that is what I did
Alice K My Finace is 6' with a 32" waist, 160lbs. What size would you recomend for him?
FRANK A Hi Alice,
I would go with a mens large.
Shopper I am 5'9" 178# 35" waist 30" inseam. What size would be right for me?
ROBERT M I have really like this wetsuit and a medium fit me perfect. I'm 5'10" but a little lighter at 155#; 31" waist and 32" inseam so you might want to consider the next size up.
JON D I bought my Neo sport 3/2 almost two years ago, and still use it weekly to dive. I am 6'0", 230, so I bought mostly on waist size, and got XXL. That works, because a little extra in the inseam isn't a problem - it still fits over the bootie. At your weight, an XL might work, unless you really like a tight fit, and then could go with the Large.
JEFFREY B I'm an inch taller and 10lbs heavier..a large fits well.
ALISA S I purchased a large for my teenage son, who is 6'3" 170lbs 31" Waist 33" inseam. Fits him pretty well, just a tad short in the leg length but with boots you can't even tell. A large might do you fine because your inseam is shorter. Try the large, worst comes to worst you can just return it. Leisure Pro is good with that.
KIMBERLY D We bought 4 of these suits for family members. Your size is pretty close to one of ours and his Large fit him quite nicely. This is a good buy at the price, especially if you are doing warm water diving - Cozumel, Bonaire, etc. You could expect it to hold up for over 100 dives. The collar on the most used one is starting to fray after 150 dives.
KEVIN K I am 5'10', 170 lb, wast 34', inseam 34.
The LR fits me very well. It has a fair amount of streach to accomidate different shapes.
Shopper I'm 5'7'' with a 38'' waist and 43' chest. I have a 1.5 mil NeoSport Xspan suit in Large that fits but I understand it runs big; whereas, this one may not. As such, not sure if I should go with an XL for this one...what would you recommend?
DAVID S Fits true to size - this is a great wetsuit!
MYLES M I think you should get the XL, I'm 5'10" 190 and 34" waist, the large was good for me
JAMES S i would say the xl is the one you want ..and if they have xlshort prob be best choice
DOUGLAS M Hi there again , yes your need the xl, I have the 3x for my size, I had forgot there sizes. I am 245, 6"2' 42 weist.
DOUGLAS M Hi there, I am 6'2 and 245 with a 42 weist. My xl fit perfect and I think I'll be okay down to 220 if i get there but its my plan. If it says the L fits 38 it should be fine.
ANTHONY S I normally wear an XL. I ordered this suit in XXL and it fits me fine. I'm a couple inches taller than you but otherwise pretty much the same porportions. I really like the suit. Good for warm water and very flexible in the arms and legs.
Shopper I'm 6'2'' 195 lbs. with a 34'' waist. What size do you recommend?
CHAD B I am a 6'0" 230 lb male with a 36-38 waist, I have the XXL and it fits great. Given the sizes that you gave i would go with XL long and see how that works for you. Plus keep in mind the easy return policy that leisurepro has in place for products that are not the proper size.
MARK C I'm 6'2" and 215 lbs...the XXL fits me well length-wise, but is a little roomy around the waist.
Shopper I am 5'10 185 lbs with 34" waist. What size do you recommend?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a large.
Shopper I'm 5'11" 250 lbs- what size would I wear?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a 3XL.
Shopper Does this suit have taped seams?
LeisurePro S No, this suit has flatlock seams, which are not sealed.
Shopper I am about 5'10 between 190-200 and waist around 36. What size?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the XLarge.
Shopper My son is 5'5" and weighs 105. Seems as though he falls in between kids 2xl and adult xs. Any suggestions? Main use will be whitewater kayaking and some kite boarding.
LeisurePro S Well, right now the kid's 2XL will work better on him since it will be tighter fitting and won't allow a loss of insulation from bagginess. That being said, the adult XSmall will still function fairly well for above the water activities and it will have room that he can grow into.
Shopper I'm 5'11" and weigh 165 with 34" waist. My wife is 5"2" weighs 122 and has a 32" waist ( which she's trying to reduce) What should be our sizes. We will use in Sea of Cortez in winter. Water temp 65-70. Will these be OK
LeisurePro S For water between 60 and 70, a 5mm suit is generally recommended. If you aren't particularly sensitive to cold, you may be able to get a vest or jacket to wear over this 3/2 suit and for winter that may be enough for you. This suit is great for Sea of Cortez in the summer months. For you, I would recommend a medium and for your wife an xsmall.
Shopper I am considering buyin a Neo Sport 3/2 Neoprene Jumpsuit SKU BLR3JM and was wanting to know how far down it comes on your legs. None of the pictures show this. Thanks Michael L. Orf
LeisurePro S To your ankles
Shopper Does this suit have a zipper?. How long is it? Im 5'11'' ; waist 35-36'' ; chest 40'' ; hip 23'' ; biceps 14'' ; weight 160 ; neck 15.5'' . which size wetsuit would be best for me? For Neo Sport 3/2MM Neoprene Mens One Piece Jumpsuit I think LARGE size. What is your suggestion?
LeisurePro S For the measurements you gave me I would say you are correct with a large. The zipper extends from the lower back at waist level all the way up to the neck.
Shopper I am 5'7" tall and weigh 190 w/ inseam of 30" waist 34". which size wetsuit would be best for me. 3/2 mil

Many divers prefer the simplicity and comfort of a one-piece jumpsuit, and these multi-thickness designs give added flexibility where divers needed it most. The thicker torso provides core body warmth while the thinner arms and legs allow for easier maneuvering. Generously cut back zippers and adjustable collars make donning a snap and flexible knee pads protect the high-wear areas of the lower legs.
