Today's modern digital cameras have very accurate auto focus features but they require a certain light level and contrast range in order to function. This can be a problem underwater so having a continuous light source mounted above the camera lens port will help the camera focus. The FF-1x5W AFO meets this need since the Auto Flash-Off function will automatically turn off the light for 3 seconds when your strobe fires. This can be a great advantage when shooting at slow shutter speeds. The 1.5W LED provides 200 lumens of light.
Powered by 4 AA batteries, both Alkaline and Ni-MH, the light has a burn time of8 hours. The Corrosion resistant anodized aluminum alloy housing of the light will assure years of maintenance free use. The FF-1x5W AFO also makes a great backup for cave diving or a primary dive light for many dive situations. The light has a color temperature of 6500K, with a beam angle from 60-. The unique "flying fish" shape makes this light hydrodynamic and features a rotary magnetic switch that can't cause a light flooding.
The FF-1x5W AFO delivers brilliant luminosity with a burn time that is four times longer than ordinary halogen diving lights. The energy efficiency design guarantee's 50,000 hours of burn time, reducing the need for periodic replacement of the bulb. Light is equipped with a thermal protection system that protects the light from overheating when used on land protecting the bulbs life span, and a safety lock on the switch protects the light from accidentally turning on when not being used.
