Michael R I am a soldier stationed in Germany and I wear European size 42 boots, both hard and soft sole. Will one size of these fins fit over both types of boots?

Go with size large.
GARY M I use a hard sole 7mm and a soft sole 3mm boot for different dive and have found that my split fins are comfortabe in both boots.
LANCE M I don't know what the size of European 42's are, but when I bought my dry suit, I had to but an extra large size of atomic split fins to accommodate the attached boot. They fit perfectly over the boot and had plenty of room for adjustment. I hope this helps. By the way by boot size is 10 1/2 American.
ANDRES A If those boots are like Mares' ones, the fins will fit you. My budy wear boots with this fins.
Sandra W My daughter wears a size 71/2 or 8 women's shoe, and a soft boot for diving. Would I be better off getting her the Small or Medium fins?
TIMOTHY Y My wife wears an 8 1/2 shoe and the size 'small' Atomic Split fins fit perfectly with booties. Note however, that there are a wide range of booties from different manufactures which will alter the fit of the fins due to the difference in the soles of the booties. My bet would be size 'small', however Leisure Pro has an excellent return policy should the guess be wrong.
BESS B Having dived with split fins for a couple years, I'm not a big fan of them. They don't have much power, which can be an issue if you find yourself in heavy current or other conditions where you need a lot of thrust. However, if you do buy these, you will definitely want a small. My foot is 8-1/2 and I wore my Small with a soft boot. I did found the foot pocket to be a smidge too small to accommodate a hard-soled boot.

I wear a women's size 7 shoe and diving boot and the small atomic fins fit me fine. I think they would fit well if my shoes were 7/2 or 8.
If your daughter is growing she might outgrow size small fins if her feet grow to size 9 or larger, but I would guess that small size would work best now. Our 12 year old grandson started diving this summer and has feet bigger than mine and he wears small fins and still has enough strap adjustment to grow and continue to use those fins.

LeisurePro S These fins are approx. 27 inches long and 8 inches wide (varies slightly by size). I have a shipping weight of approx. 4.5 pounds.

Shopper How are these different from the "smoke on the water" fins?
LeisurePro S The main difference with the Smoke on the Water fins is the gray/black color combo and that they come standard with spring heel straps. These split fins in the different colors will still handle currents extremely well.
