I raelly like this clip. Time will tell with regards to how the plastic holds up. I use the clip rigged with 300# mono crimped with a small climbing biner to hook my gun to whilst I reel in the float line and breakaway shaft.

Cool product functions well. I like best that you don't have to undo entire weight belt.

Since it's made of plastic time will tell how long the plastic holds up. I wouldn't put your most crucial peice of equipment on this clip.

I solely have used these clips create loops on my weight belt to tie accessory item lines to when I snorkel spearfish. Suits my purpose.
