To me this is like checking the oil in your car -- and just as easy. By monitoring your IP frequently you stay ahead of potential problems BEFORE you find yourself on a dive trip with a bad 1st stage. I actually gauge my service intervals for my regs based on this.

After experiencing some problems with 1st stage IP creep on one of my MK10s, I decided it would be wise to carry an IP gauge in my traveling kit. This allows me to check IP prior to and after diving and determine if it is moving out of acceptable range. A simple tool that can save problems while diving.

Comments about Aqua Intermediate Pressure Gauge Plugs Into The BCD Quick Disconnect Hose:

A useful device to check the 2nd stage's interstage pressure on your regulator. Especially useful for troubleshooting freeflow problems. It is small and easily carried in your save-a-dive kit.

Comments about Aqua Intermediate Pressure Gauge Plugs Into The BCD Quick Disconnect Hose:

This gauge is specifically to measure the intermediate pressure. My octo has a tendency to freeflow if the second stage pressure is even slightly too high. This little tool helps me keep that condition in check.
