Questions about this item:
Shopper Why Did You Choose This?
JASON P It's the standard custom mouthpiece, and for good reason.
AMANDA P I have a tiny mouth and used to get mouth fatigue and sore gums from regular regulators after a long day of multiple dives, so thought I would give this a try. For the price, I think it was a good investment
DAVE V Huge improvement over standard mouthpiece for any diver who spends a fair amount of time in the water. I highly recommend giving it a try!!
ROBERT B Great mouth piece, worth the price. I would never go back to a non-mouldable piece.
LESLIE C The ONLY kind of mouthpiece to have. It fits perfectly, your jaw does not get tired clamping on the other kind and you don't bite through as often. My reg stayed in as my jaw dropped when the awesome eagle rays swam by, only got H2O in my mouth to wake me up!!!!!
JAMES S I have used these before and change them regularly.
FRANK G comfort, ease of conforming, durability
MIKE L Trouble free breathing
STEPHEN S My wife loves this for her mouth and teeth. She does not like standard mouthpieces. They are uncomfortable. I think seacure mouthpiece is good and more comfortable but I can adjust to any mouthpiece.
CHARLES S To reduce jaw fatigue. I no longer have a sore jaw after diving.
ART R Help alleviate TMJ in my jaw.
ART R Help alleviate TMJ in my jaw.
KAREN B Every diver should use one of these. They should be required...
Anyone not using one would be nuts. If you have your own regs... one of these are a must.
BOBBY S I have an uneven bite. This works great for me.
AMIR S I won't dive without my Seacure custom moldable mouthpiece. Its a game changer in comfort on long dives or after multiple dives.
ENRIQUE A better grip with the regulator
ENRIQUE A less stress on your jaws
TODD B Keeps the regulator firmly in place while working. I have a hull cleaning business and its critical that it all stays in place. Really durable too.
BARBARA S less strain over longer dive trips. Our divers have orthodontics and tmj issues. This mouthpiece was fabulous assisting with both.
BRIAN H Personalized fit ! much easier to hold in mouth, the plug is a nice feature !
Shopper Hi ... I have a Mares Proton reg and would like to get a mouthpiece that fits it. Which size should I be getting?
HENRYK U So do I. Go to Seacures website, they have a list of which mouthpieces fit which regulators.
Shopper Does this mouth piece fit the scubapro mk25 regulator?
JEFFREY S I'm sure there is a version of this mouthpiece that will fit your reg but the best people to ask is the Leisure Pro Staff. Contact them and they can give you the most accurate details on this.
HENRYK U Scubapro mk25 is the 1st stage. You need the 2nd stage. Go Seacures website and you can find out which mouth piece will fit your regulator.
JACK W I am not sure, but if you go to Seacures website it has a full list of compatible regulators for each mouthpiece.Hope this helps.
SCOTT M The mk25 is the first stage of the regulator. You can put many different second stages on the mk25 so it depends on what second stage you are using. I have a yoke setup and a DIN setup both with Scubapro g250 second stages and have Seacure's on them.
JEREMY F The MK25 is a 1st Stage. If you mean a ScubaPro 2nd Stage, Type I is what I purchased for my S600 and it worked perfect. I love it!
Shopper which size would fit an aqualung titan ?
DOUGLAS B Hi, you need to go to seacure web site and looking for the regulator size table, Leasure pro do not let me put the seacure web site link,
go to google search by seacure mothpiece open the web site and you see if you can use this piece in your regulator
JACK W Go to sea cure website they have a size chart
Shopper will it work for people who wear dentures?
JOSEPH L i do not wear dentures so i do not no.But do you,.If you do it should be ok wear dentures when you dive.Go to a sporting dept and buy a mouth piece and try it out.If this feels ok then you are set.
JEFFREY S I suppose so, as much as any other mouthpiece would. If you follow the instructions and do the custom fitting, they will fit to your dentures or just your gums if you prefer. Personally, this is one of the best things I have ever bought and highly recommend it.
GARY S If you wear partial dentures, it should work fine, because your remaining teeth will help hold the mouthpiece from moving around. If you have full dentures, then the mouthpiece will move proportional to the amount of retension you have with the dentures. Very important to get a good bite relation when you initially bite into the mouthpiece to mould it to your bite. With full dentures, it can be tricky if the dentures move away from your gum tissue while biting. Make sure the dentures are fully seated and the mouthpiece is in completely before biting down to get the bite.
The bottom line is that the seacure mouthpiece will work with dentures and you will find it a lot more comfortable and stable than with a stock mouthpiece. Less jaw fatigue.
KEVIN N I imagine it will work as well as any mouthpiece would for someone with dentures, and maybe even a little better. The nice thing about this mouthpiece is that you primarily use your molars to keep it in place. It definitely reduces jaw fatigue for me when compared to a traditional mouthpiece.
BRUCE K ABSOLUTELY !! ... and it eliminates pressure on the front of the denture because you don't actually "bite" .... the Seacure extends further into the mouth and covers nearly all of the teeth like a mouthpiece used to protect the teeth for soccer or football.

Shelley R I would like to know which size Seacure to buy for an Aqualung Calypso?
GARY S On the back side of the Seacure packaging, it usually says what size to buy for your regualator model. If you don't have a chance to look, you can go to the Seacure website and find the size you need.
I had an easy instalation for my Scubapro regualors, but found that there was no size for my son's Apeks reg. I had to dunk the connection side of the Seacure mouthpiece in hot water and strech the mouthpiece to fit his reg. He has had no problems with that fix and all of my family love the mouth piece.
KYLE G Go to the Seacure website. The have a listing of which regs fit their mouthpieces. Hope this helps
DOUGLAS B hi, you can go to they website and look in the size charts. (link below)
they have basicaly three types: sea cure I, II and III. each one for different regulator brand and type
they have a very good cosrumer service, if you don't find what you want in the chart... call them they are very good wwwseacure1com/Products/SizeChart/tabid/66/Default.aspx
Please use a dot after www and secure1 the brwser do not let me send the link
Shopper I am looking for a moldable mouth piece for my boyfriend's Mare reg. It is a present so I can't just ask him. Will this one fit it?
CHARLES S sorry, mine was for a scubapro reg. leisure pro can help you pick out the right one. they work great.
ROBERT F depends on which regulator he has
SEAN H Most of the Mares will take the Seacure II model. We have two Mares regs and they take the II. Definitely worth it and he will like having it. Remember they also have color choices in case you both have the same equipment as you can easily differentiate them with different colors.
DOUGLAS B yes, it is a moldable mouth piece, and it will mold to you mouth very well.
Just be sure to buy the correct size for you regulator.
go to seacure web site toget the correct size,
leasurepro do not let me add URL, just go the the web site and looking for size chart
it will show the size for each regulator brand
hope that it will helo you
KEVIN F Seacure is a great product and has easy to follow directions. There are 2 or 3 different applications for different regulators. Leisure pro is not very clear on this ,I think this info is on seacure's web site.
kevin
SCOTT B The manufacturer has a size chart for different regulators which should be used to select the correct model.
RICHARD O Check the Seacure website for compatability
JOSEPH L Will it fit ask the Leisure staff. It should fit, the mouth piece is nice, no jaw fatigue.I enjoy it very well.
Dzung T What would fit a Sherwood Magnum (SKU: SWDM2R)?
(in the sizing chart there is Sherwood MagnumII, but I am not quite sure it is the same reg)
JEFF J I don't know about the sherwood. I attached mine to a mares and my son attached his to a scuba pro. We are both very happy with the performance of the seacure. I had some problems previously with losing my reg. before I had the seacure but not once after.
Shopper I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?
JEFFREY S Getting this mouthpiece is literally the best thing you can do to increase your comfort while diving. Once you use one, you'll wonder why anyone would dive without it!
JOSEPH L I ENJOY THIS MOUTH PIECE.MY JAW DOESN'T GET TIRED TEETH FEEL BETTER WHEN DIVING.THE MOUTH GETS A REST.ITS, A KEEPER.
DAVID H I decided on the Sea cure mouthpiece because I was tired of coming home after a week of diving with aching jaw muscles. I have a been on a few week long trips since and I am very pleased with the results.
DOUGLAS B I try to get something that I can mold perfect to my mouth and this one do the job. After three dives a day I starting havejaw fatigue
Beware that they have three different sizes, be sure that you pick the correct size for your regulator.
JACK W I picked this one because it is mouldable to fit your mouth.
RICHARD O I chose it because it fits the mouth very comfortably. I am very happy with it and so is my wife.
Shopper what size would fit an xtx 200 reg?
Donald H Hello I'm not sure what model will fit the apex xtx 200 regulator, according to the SeaCure size chart they won't fit but the guys at Leisure would really know if they are compatible. I use them on my Mare Ti-Planet regulator and Atomic Aquatic SS1 octo-inflator and they really eliminated my jaw fatigue by the custom fitting process.
WILLIAM G Simply measure the retention lip on the air orifice of the
regulator. Or, if possible, try both a size I and size II on the unit in question to see which one fits.
SeaCure I? fits standard orifice regulators (size 1-1/4? x 3/4?)
SeaCure II ? fits intermediate size orifice regulators (size 1-7/16? x 7/8?)
PATRICIA M If it's an APEKS reg then I don't believe you can use a Seacure mouthpiece.
DON M I would suggest you visit the Seacure website and tell them the brand name and model number. I picked the mouth piece for my Aqua Lung regulator from a chart on the website, perhaps you can find it the same way. I cut and shaped the mouth piece several times to get it to fit well. You might need some dive trials to get it to fit the way it's most comfortable.
Scott V Will this model fit a ScubaPro R295 second stage?
HENRYK U Dont Know. If you go to Seacures website they give a list of the different regulators the mouthpieces fit. I use one on a ScubaPro S600 2nd Stage.
GREG A They are outstanding very comfortable. I have purchased 2 from Leisurepro for both of my primary regulators. Sherwood and Atomics. I highly recommend.
greg adams master instructor.
Shopper Which model will fit a Zeagle Octo-Z Alternate Air Source?
DMITRY P As far as I know any one will
JOHN B don't wory about it. just use a standard motuth piece. Seacure mouth pieces are great and I have used them for years, but you only need them on your primary. make sure you maintain your equipment and you never have to worry about this one going in your mouth. It's off your BC, correct?
ALAN P Check the package.
JIM B Talk to technical support at Leisurepro
James J Which size SeaCure fits the following two regulators?
- Scuba Pro G250
- Poseidon Jetstream
Thanks
James J
JASON S I didn't even realize they came in different sizes. I thought all regulators had the same size attachment point. I will say that my US Divers, OCeanic, Tusa, Kirby Morgan and Scuba Pro regulators, I have dove with all of them and the one size I have fits all of those.
Thes mouth pieces are great. I dive for a living doing labor intensive dive in excess of 250 + dives a year and these mouth pieces greatly improved the quality of diving for me. No more jaw fatigue and more importantly, no more sore rubbed spots on my gums from the generic mouthpieces.
I'm sorry if I didn't answer your question, but You may have to call Sea Cure TEch Line.
Good Luck.
FRANK R Hi James,
I ordered it, but I didn't see the value in it,
so I returned it.
Frank
RICHARD M I have a SCUBAPRO G250 and the size I fits perfect. Great mouth piece, cures jaw fatigue on long dives.
Shopper What size for an 2010 Atomic T2? I had one on my older Atomic B2, and didn't know there were different sizes.
PAUL B works great, be sure you order one that fits your reg.
Shopper what size for an old Sherwood Magnum II ?
DALLAS K Sea-Cure, version I
RANDY J States on the box: I believe that there are two different models to choose from. I dive the PRO II for Poseidon. Bottom Line: if you have a standard orifice on the reg., it is the regular model, Poseidon Cyklon's have a very large orifice, PRO II.
Hope this helps.
EDMOND H I don't know about the old Sherwood - I have an XS Scuba Sea Air and I'm more than satisfied with the mouthpiece. The Sea Air has a quite large orifice but I don't know how that compares with the Sherwood. Perhaps you could measure the orifice on your Sherwood and find a newer regulator on the size chart that has an equivalent orifice. ECH
Andrew M Which one for an older Dacor XP?
JOSEPH L I enjoy the hi flow mouthpiece no mouth or jaw problems.More rest for the mouth.Easy to breath. Its great Rx to a diver who dives a lot.
KEN K Sorry it took so long but we just got back from the Cayman Islands and the
Aggressor Fleet just diving for fun.
To answer your question all Dacor Regulators old and newer models
use the type II version of the Secure mouthpiece and because of the ease of
the second stage in rotating on the low pressure hose this mouthpiece holds everything in place and gives the feeling that the weight of the regulator cut in half. You'll wish you had gotten this mouthpiece years earlier.
Hope this helps!!! Ken Kirby IDCS - 97111
Scuba Doo Dive & Travel
JACK W You have to go to the Seacure website, they have a size chart.Hope this helps.Jack
Shopper Which model will fit an Oceanic Alpha 8?
JOHN L Sorry ... can't help with this question; however, can say this is the most comfortable mouthpiece available ... it's worth every penny. It reduces jaw fatigue to nothing.
BARBARA S SeaCure I ? fits standard orifice regulators (size 1-1/4? x 3/4?)
SeaCure II ? fits intermediate size orifice regulators (size 1-7/16? x 7/8?)
I just replaced three Oceanic regs with SeaCureII as per the manufacturers suggestion the first and second glided on the third needed a little coaxing but all worked like a charm. When heating to fit make sure you read the directions throughly, The stage between moldable and messy is only bout 5 seconds! We have been using Seacure for over 10 years now, adults kids TMJ, orthodontics - this is the best mouthpiece ever!
