Versatile coil lanyard

I bought two of these - one to clip on a ContourRoam video camera housing, and the other to clip on my compact camera housing. I like that the overall length is relatively short when retracted and snapped together. I also found that I could use the coil as a wrist strap while snorkeing, which made the lanyard even more versatile for me.

The lanyard is well made and works as indicated. The clip is functional, but only goes in one way. I wish the clip would work either direction.
