Shopper Can the glow in the dark version be read easily in higher light situations as well as in low light situations?

LeisurePro S The glow in dark is visible in normal light as well. If you have no need for the glow in the dark, you can just tget the normal version, but if you might need to use the slate in the dark, glow in the dark will be fine for all applications.

As an instructor, I have used many of these. The benefit of this wrist slate is the pencil tube that the pencil slides into for storage. Others, have a pencil "catch" that breaks. However, the only down side to this slate is the orings that are used to flip the slates. I suspect they will stretch and tear in time like all orings. Overall, I recommend it compared to others on the market...Enjoy

Good little piece of gear to add to your bag. There is plenty of room for writing, as each layer can flip open to reveal more writing space; which works out great for multiple dives. Is easy to use and comes with some replacement parts in case the pencil wears out or the o-rings break. It is a little ungainly and I found that it slid enough to require a little adjustment, but tighten it down a little and it stays put pretty well. Overall a handy gadget if you need to record minor things, depths, PSI, even a quick note to your buddy.

Works as stated. Fits comfortable on your forearm. Was a little big for my wife's forearm. The extra o-rings helped save a fellow diver's dive as he forgot his save a dive kit and we had the o-rings on hand. Little hard to erase.

Just got back from a Liveaboard in Belize. This product definately worked and wife and i enjoyed them very much. Allowed us to communicate about specific things, "where did everyone go ?, do you know where the boat is ? Why are you going this way ?" It's very easy to use but very hard to clean. Elbow grease and a little soap made it useable for the next dive. It's a little lightweight, so i wouldn't recommmend it for pro divers without some mods; stronger mounting strap to keep it secure and in place. longer strap to keep it from flipping open.

This slate allowed for setting up standard communication messages with my buddy. Not as practical for ongoing sharing. The unit itself kept slipping around my arm. Erasing messages is tough.
