Anna R I normally dive with 5 kilos, but when I go to shops that use weights in pounds, that is in between 10 and 12 pounds on a wieght belt. Could I put 10 punds on a weight belt and one of these 1 lb weights in a pocket in the BCD?
JACOB K Yes you can use these weight in a BC pocket. Use them from trim and to fine tune my buoyancy. I take 4 of these with me when I travel because most resorts have only 5lb weights. 10 pounds could be too light where 15 pounds could be too heavy.
NICHOLAS C Yes. I use these as trim weights behind my tank. Just make sure you have enough weight available to ditch with easy access in an emergency.
ANDY M You should be fine. However, if you can get weight pockets that are designed for trim weights you can more evenly distrbute your weight. Hope this helps Anna.
STEVE C If you add weight to only one pocket and the weight on your belt is evenly distributed, you would be slightly unbalanced and would probally hIave a tendency to roll toward the heavy side. You might be better off to put the odd weight centerline on your belt.
