IRVING D This hose holder does the job. I have also used it for holding the octo. The material is durable and the clip holds the hose tight enough were it will not fall off the clip. I have used many others but this one has been the one that is worth the money.

I like this clip for holding my gauge console so it doesn't drag while diving. The only complaint I have is that it's a little difficult to push the hose into the holder slots. Perhaps it's because it is brand new and it will loosen up. Otherwise, it's very well made and I think it will last a long time.

I bought 3. The first two both broke on their first dive. Was I happy? You guess. The main pin holding the swivel is very weak brittle plastic. It snaps easily turning the easy clip into rubbish.
The clip needs to have a strong (metal) support pin. The manufacturer should re engineer the easy clip and send me two replacements.

Appears to be of sturdy construction. The pin that holds the swivel may be plastic that could fail with a good yank on the octopus. The clip to BC is great but the one to hold the octo is tight and mine only fits the metal clamp where the second stage connects to the hose. I imagine if there is an out of air situation and my dive buddy grabs the octo, this would be a single emergency use item. Until then it should last a lifetime.
