Kirk R Do these gloves run large or small in fit? And did your hands remain warm?
DAVID E In my opinion, they run small. This is my second pair and I got the XL both times. I use them for lobster diving in the keys so they are thin enough to have a lot of flexibility and "feel" yet rugged enough that my first pair lasted 4 yrs. I'm pretty much diving in the summer in 80ish degree water so this glove was perfect for where I go.
CATHIE L They run true to size..they are a great buy for the price. I would recommend the purchase of these gloves..
DAVE B These gloves run extemely small. If you wear a large you need an XL at a minimum. If an XXL was available I would recommend it.
I have not used the gloves yet so I cannot tell you if they are warm. We did not purchase them for diving. We will use them for driving boats in the cool wet climate where we live,
DAVID R Hi Kirk,
I'd say the gloves run neither large or small, but just about right in the middle size-wise. I normally wear a size L and the ones I bought fit very well.
As to the warm question. I did not buy the gloves for warmth, but for protection. I am an underwater photographer and I bought them to wear for diving in Raja Ampat were there are lots of stinging hydroids. The water temperature was 84 F so there really wasn't any need for thermal protection, but they did work great for keeping my hands free from stings. I will say I also dove at Wakatobi where they do not allow gloves and I ended up with severe stings on my left hand. So, while I really can't comment on how they would perform in cold water, I will highly recommend them for protection in warm water where you also need to be able to operate a housed camera.
SETH L I ordered same size I wore in work glove and fit great. Held up great while diving in the Keys. Haven't had them in cold water to answer about warmth. I have 5mm I wearvin cold water.
RYAN M I LOVE these gloves. They are best as exposure gloves for Warmer dive temps. They are true to size. Not to big or small. Plus with leisure pro it doesn't matter. Wrong size and they fix that for free. I did wreck dives in Cozumel and wouldn't buy anything else. Even worked great for diving back home in indiana
EILENE S They may run just a little small.I used the in 72 degree water and they were fine.If you are cold natured you may want something a little thicker.
