misty c I purchased this suit in a 9/10, but it feels a little too short in the torso and the shoulders are tight. However, I'm worried that the 11/12 would be too loose in the waist. I am 5'7" and 135 lbs, do you think I should exchange it for the 11/12 or try a different model?
STEPHANIE D I purchased the same suit in 9/10 and I am a 5"2 125 pds and it worked well for me. A bit long so I cut a few inches off legs and wrists. This also made the torso/waist fit better. I would think the 11/12 would be better for you. I have worn this suit since 2007 through a live-aboard and many other vacations and really love it. It is exceptionally comfortable and really worth trying the next size up. It has held up really well. I started with the 7/8 and exchanged for the 9/10. So perhaps you might have to do the same. KEN S You may have to try a different model. All of our bodies are different. You don't want to have motion restrictions as that can be dangerous such as difficulty taking deep breaths.
Manufacture cuts are slightly different. I had a simular problem with another brand and then ordered this. Seems to fit well on my frame.
