Heather D I am purchasing this product for my nephew who is turning 6 next week. He is a size 14 kids. What size would you suggest I get him?

Shopper I want to use these fins to strength my legs - will be using in lap swimming in a pool - are these suitable for this purpose? I hear fins can irritate the top of your foot - is there a product - ie sock ---that could be purchased to help prevent this irritation?

LeisurePro S I would recommend a 6.5/7.5 in this fin, but these are more for snorkeling purposes. If you are looking for good exercise fins, I would recommend the Cressi Exercise fin in a size 7/8. If you are looking for a sock to prevent irritation, you can go with a lycra sock like this, but I think a neoprene sock would prevent rubbing better.

Shopper What size would you recommend in a full foot fin for women's size 5?

LeisurePro S I would recommend the 3.5/4.5.

Shopper Hi, I'm looking to buy fins for my daughter the Akona ones but I'm not sure what size to buy her. she is a 10 to a 10 1/2 in shoe size, she is 4 1/2 what do you suggest? thanks :)

LeisurePro S Hi, These will all probably be too big. I would check out DPSFRC in a size 10/12. It's a similar fin in more kid-specific sizing.

LeisurePro S They are "unisex". Men shoud order one size down from their shoe size and women two sizes down.

I use these fins for swimming and getting exercise for my legs. The length helps me get better distance and speed. I love these! A friend recommended these as she had just purchased a pair herself. We swim around the lake together at Lake Powell.

I found the fins to be all around great. The shoe fits perfectly and is a soft rubber that does not rub or annoy your feet. I can generate PLENTY of power with them. They even came with a "shoe tree". They were perfect for snorkeling in Belize
