Questions about this item:
Shopper Does this computer have everything you need to attach to 1st stage for air pressue guage?
EDWARD H spelling correction: "works", not "woks'
EDWARD H if it does it's a surprise to me. to be sure, better ask one of the pro's.
I think what you want is air integrated. check the 'select feature' for that , you'll find that aeris does make models with this feature, as does everyone else.
call me old fashioned, but i never thought that having four hoses was so awful.
what's more important to me is that the computer seems to hold up well over time, even with very deep dives.
i also use the cable and software for uploading dive info. this woks reasonably well.
all in all, a pretty good value for the money, i thought
KEITH W If I understand your question correctly and you are asking if the Aeris XR-2 connects to your first stage, the answer is no, it has no hard or wireless connection to any of your pressurized equipment. It is a standalone device that operates based on your depth, dive profile, and time, calculating your nitrogen build-up and adjusting your 'bottom time remaining' on that basis. You still have to monitor your own air supply - just remember the most common cause of diver emergencies is running out of air! Hope this helps. Happy diving!
ELLEN J Mine is not integrated with my tank, I monitor my air on my console. I replaced my Mare's computer with this and LOVE IT! Easy to set up, read under water, switch from air to nitrox.
ROBERT R No. This is a wrist computer without any ability to sense your tank pressure. You can program 2 gasses with respect to oxygen 21-50% and it will keep track of your deco time, but not time remaining or air consumption.
MARIANNE B I have this computer and it does not come with a transmitter that allows you to see tank pressure. You will need to buy a separate pressure gauge for that.
SCOTT G If you are asking about Air Integration No it can not do that. If you are asking about having a pressure gauge to monitor air pressure it works well in a console. the XR-2 is a very nice full feature computer from Aeris. But if you want to have the Air integration feature you need the Elite T3 or Epic or that type of computer. Good luck.
SESSION M No, this is more of a bottom timer and dive planner. No direct gas reading.
PATRICK B It does not always come with the Wireless transmitter. I would make sure that it says the transmitter is included.
Shopper How many nitrox mixes can it switch between?
WAYNE E The XR-2 can be set for any PO2 between 21 and 50 in increments of 1%.
KEITH W You can find out everything about the XR-2 by downloading the user manual at diveaeris.com/PDF/12-7195-r02.pdf
ROBERT P The computer starts with "Air" setting, then will toggle from 21% to 50% Nitrox settings in 1% increments. After reaching 50%, the next toggle action will take it back to "Air"
MICHAEL M The computer is factory set for Air however it can be set between 21% and 50% in increments of 1% There are no preset nitrox mixes, you set them yourself. I hope this helps.

Shopper Does the Aeris XR-2 wrist dive computer have a backlight for night diving ?
LeisurePro S Yes, the XR-2 has a bluish backlight that can be activated with a push of a button.
Shopper The aeris atmos 2 download allows you to view the dive profile in a graph type style "for lack of the proper words, sort of looks like a readout on an electrocardiogram depending on the depths incurred. Does this computer and download kit allow the same
Shopper Does it come with everything necessary to link to a pc or is that device additional?

Whats in the box:Online Class, Computer Owner's Manual, Wrist Boot with Strap Have you ever spent a dive staring at your computer instead of looking at everything in the water all because your computer is hard to read? The XR-2's enlarged digits, easy-to-read icons, and split screen take the guesswork out of reading your dive computer. Also, the XR-2 allows you to decide what information displays; now you can customize the display to include only the things you want to keep an eye on during your dives. The XR-2 is an air, nitrox or gauge mode computer, has backlighting, and incorporates audible alarms with flashing LED warning light. Variable ascent rate indicator will keep you safe upon ascent and slow you down progressively as you head to the surface. Safety stop timer will give you the ability to include the all important 15' (5 meter) safety stop which is recommended by all instructional agencies. Aeris Dive Computers are designed with color-coded bar graphs; grey, yellow and red. These graphs monitor three very important diving parameters; nitrogen accumulation, oxygen loading and your personal ascent rate. Pixels build up in each of these color-coded areas to give you a quick, easy reference of these parameters. Proper monitoring of these graphs allows you to select the personal degree of conservatism you wish to build into each dive, putting you in control of your margin of safety. The XR-2 features time of day on the surface as well as underwater for quick reference. Time and date stamp also helps you to easily identify specific dives in Log Mode or PC download memory. All Aeris computers automatically compensate for altitude up to 14,000' (4,267 meters), giving adjusted no-decompression times and depths. They even automatically recalibrate the depth display for freshwater instead of seawater. The XR-2 computer features diver replaceable CR240 batteries. This can be a real trip-saver on board a live-aboard boat! An added benefit to diver replaceable batteries is the hot-swap" feature allows you to change batteries between dives while maintaining all calculations. The XR-2 features a watertight, plug-in serial connection for fast and reliable PC download. Feature-rich software provides intuitive post-dive analysis and logging. You have the option to add and/or edit many pieces of information to customize your log book, with data such as depth and decompression status during a dive, maximum depth, bottom time, no-decompression status, descent and ascent rate, surface interval, and any violations recorded automatically. The XR-2 has an operational depth limit as a computer to 330' (100 meters), and as an advance depth gauge to 399' (122 meters). Other features of the XR-2 are temperature on surface and underwater, simulator and dive planner, set units of measure, and much more. The AERIS XR-2 is an ideal, user-friendly diving computer for those who prefer wrist-mounted computer gear. The computer comes with Aeris 30 day satisfaction guarantee and a 24 month limited warranty.
