Can I remove the dry peice to make this a wet snorkel? And the. Put it back on when I want to just snorkel and not scuba dive
MICHAEL M I was unable to easily remove the dry piece - I was afraid more pressure would break it
DAVID F Why would you want to remove it? It does not get in the way. Tthis snorkel is great never gets water in it. I dive down or rough water nothing in the tube.
VLADIMIR D Yes you can if you use some tools to pry open the cover and remove the device. The cover snaps back on. I took mine out and left it out.
WESTON W Not the one I have anyway. It's snapped together in such a way that you probably wouldn't want to take it appart more than once or twice.
JAE B Hi! I'm not sure which piece you'd like to take out. But the snorkel can be disassembled into 4 pieces. (Clear mouth piece, black bottom piece, clear flexible tube piece and upper piece. If you are talking about the internal piece that stops the water from getting in, then no, I don't think you can remove that piece.
I really like this snorkel. I've used it for about 3 years now and never failed.
