The Aeris EX200 BCD is a good quality product for the price that you pay. For the people who said that it makes you go forward on surface, the only thing that they have to do, is distribute their weights between the QLR pockets and the pockets that are included on the belt of the tank (non dump-able). Doing this you will solve the problem. If you leave all your lead in the QLR pockets, you definitely will go forward because the weight is in the front, far from your center. This back inflation BCD will make you feel very stable with the proper horizontal trim that you need and you can assume any body position underwater.

I found that the zipper pockets for accesories are a little hard to open underwater because they are positioned far behind.

Another thing, the back Over-Pressure Relief valve, is not easy to reach. As soon as you can find it, you will deflate your BCD with any problem. You have to get used to it.

The materials does't look that are the best quality on the market, but right now I can't talk about durability.

In general, I like the EX 200 it is a good BCD.

The other comments about this BC are way off. This BC is perfect for its purpose. It is a back inflate BC and its clearly stated as that. It only has a butt dump because its a back inflate BC which is normal. The butt dump is not the only way to release air as you can also use your power inflater hose, like all back inflates or wings. The weight pockets are positioned like all other weight pockets and if you dump the weights you wouldn't be putting them back in underwater. About the comment on floating face down that is just strange to think a jacket BC would always make you float to the surface heads up if you are unconscious. This back inflate BC works perfect for helping maintain good trim and has plenty of lift for holding you up out of the water during high surf ocean dives.

This was a replacement for my 6-yo Sherwood Avid which unfortunately had its inflater purge valve blown out of its base where it was glued to the bladder during a giant leap water entry. I can say without a single doubt I'll not be having another wing-type BC and stick with a jacket type in the future.

I was impressed with this BCD. It had a great feature mix, especially given it's price. It fits well and appears durable (only used for a handful of dives so far). On the downside, the weight pockets are set pretty far back on your side, so if they are removed, it can be hard to replace while wearing the BCD underwater (cant see the slots through the mask). Also on the downside, there is only one pressure release valve on the lower right.

Ive only used it 4 times its New, i dont like the fact that the air pocket is at the back and not all round like most bcds, i dont recommend it for the 'Wild' divers in the case of an emergency you will float upsidedown. over all an excellent reliable Buoyancy Compensator Device.
