I have taken down 30pd Red Snapper,40pd Grouper, and many AJs in the 40pd range with this gun with no problem I got one 65pd cobia. The gun had no problem but he took "me" for a ride and I will never do that again

I've shot lots of rock fish and kelp bass with this gun. I've shot at 2 sheepheads and the spear just bounced off. Not enough power for those big guys. This is my first spear gun and I am enjoying it.

This gun works great, moves through the water easy, you can bring it up on fish quicker. I borrowed a high dollar gun from a friend I was thinking about buying, it was too bulky and heavy. I couldn't wait to get my biller back in my hands. If this is your first gun, wait til' you get used to it and then buy some 5/8" bands for more range.
