I used the boat on a lake on a windy day. The wind really blew me around.I fished with a ulta-light rod (4ft6in)using a short handled net, I was able to land & release fish very easily.It's better than a float tube.It,s very light,I carried it 200 Yds from my camp to the Lake with little problem and I'm 64 years old.

I bought this Kayak because of its size but was surprised to see that there is plenty of room in the back for gear and storage in the front. The kayak handled well in 2-3ft ocean swells. My only complaint is that it is slow and tracking is fair for this diveyak. I am glad I purchased the seat from the manufacturer with the bottle holder and storage pouch for those extra items on long trips. Overall I love it!
