Comments about Stearns/Sevylor Sevylor U282/K85 Caravelle 4 person Boat:

I got this boat for fishing though I dont fish from the boat I do use it when the river is low to get to the rock islands in the middle of the river for that purpose it works great with a fishing buddy and myself plus gear we fit comfortably and it is easy to row/paddle the times I've been out there was a slight upstream wind and mild current which seemed to cancel each other out I recently got a sevylor sbm 18 motor for it and i would recommend at least that motor for this boat you can move around at a brisk walking pace (3-4 MPH) I think I would have been disappointed with the SBM 12 this boat is just one grade above a pool toy so I dont fish from it and am very cautious about dragging it over rocks I have had to patch a hole already caused by a fish hook (not one of ours) left on the rock that we deflated the boat on the material it is made of is tough but not very thick but if you are careful it should give you years of service i think next year I am going to upgrade to the hf360 with a boat boot
