This is a perfect package for those starting out and I can't fault anything with it.
Mares Prestige 12 regulator - Breathes really easy and works terrific, no complaints.
Rebel Octo - does the job
BCD - The Origin Sport Airtrim BCD was comfortable and fit perfectly, the Airtrim system works very well, with the Airtrim it is no longer necessary to raise the hose while you deflate your BCD. On the negative side the MRS weight pockets seem a bit flimsy and I would've preferred a traditional velcro retainer keeping the weights in instead of the buckle. The Small size BCD also has a max weight of 9 lbs per side.
Another drawback was that you cannot deflate the BCD without the system being pressurized, this seems to be an odd design as the BCD uses the LP pressure to open some valve.
Mission Puck 2 - A great little computer that is extremely intuitive and easy to use. Has all the information you need at your fingertips and also has backlighting for night dives and audible alerts.
Overall a terrific buy, Mares quality at a fantastic price!

I have talked with many new beginners who are piecing together their equipment and paying a lot of money. If you want to get started with your own equipment and you're looking for a deal, this is it. Everything works well and is functional. Keep in mind no trim pockets in the BC and the reg tends to pull out when you turn your head, I plan to correct this with a custom mouthpiece.
