Can't stand using a hooded vest because every time you put one on or take it off you feel you have lost half your hair or part of your nose! Looking for a great hooded vest that you won't hate putting on! XS Scuba's 3/4/6mm Pyrostretch Hooded Vest has a soft and comfortable fit. The Vest Hood is 6mm the Torso is 4mm with a side zipper for easy putting on/taking off, and the 3mm face seal is a trimable for a custom fit, equipped with a vented top panel to prevent trapped air from creating leaks in your hood and mask. Vest has Glideskin interior.

Comments about XS Scuba XS Scuba Mens 3/4/6 PyroStretch Hooded Vest with Side Zipper:

I have been diving for over 30 years and as you get older water temps become more of a pre-dive issue. I find that in 72-78 F water temps a 3 mil wetsuit just doesn't keep my core temps where I feel comfortable (read as getting chilled after a couple dives) and I, like most, try to avoid going up to 5/7+ mil wetsuits (Pillsbury dough boy effect). Adding the XS hooded vest to the 3 mil suit solves the chill effect issue. If you have not used a hooded vest before two things will be some getting some too... 1. tighter feel around head and neck than not wearing a hooded vest and 2. getting a hooded vest off can be a challenge and rather entertaining sight for your fellow divers, but the XS piece has a zipper (for the body part of the vest) which makes this process MUCH easier...not totally easy though.Specific to the XS hooded vest... I weigh about 170 lbs soaking wet and I ordered the Large size...was noticeably too small and exchanged [...] to XLarge and issue solved. So, when ordering I suggest to upsize by one what you are normally accustomed to ordering (thus my prior comment of 'chest too small').
