3mm Vests can be worn as stand-alone items in warm waters, and they add tremendous warmth to any wetsuit. Pinnacle's Vests are constructed of the same materials that have made Pinnacle's wetsuits famous for warmth, comfort, and durability. This 3mm titanium lined neoprene sleeveless vest has large arm openings which allow freedom of movement. The super stretch neck opening make donning and doffing easy without a zipper. The vest is durable with its double glued and blind stitch seams and stress disks are applied at all internal seam intersections for added strength.

Nice vest, easy to put on and take off and feels great. Perfect fit and true to size. Adds some core thermal protection (but does not replace a warmer suit). The only con I found - the thread along the bottom edge unraveled on day one. Perfect otherwise.

I use this for layering along with a 2mm jumpsuit and 3mm jacket. With this combo I am comfortable in all waters 60F and up mixing and matching as needed by conditions. When my diving buds are cold I am toasty and this core warmer is the key. It is very easy to put on, harder to take off when wet, but not that difficult. Most of my diving in off the NC/SC coast and Florida Keys.

I bought this vest because I do not like to wear my 7 mil farmer john. I wear the vest under my 3 mil wetsuit and I am good in high 60 to 70 degree water. Nice....
