The Polar is an incredible hood attached semi-dry wetsuit, designed to keep divers warm and comfortable in extremely cold waters. The design allows only the smallest amount of water to enter, and virtually none to escape, enveloping the diver in a warm layer of insulated water. Constructed from 7mm titanium lined neoprene in the torso and 5mm in the extremities for increased mobility. Pinnacle's patented Merino lining system not only adds warmth, but also promotes quick drying after a dive and helps to reduce odors. Suit is equipped with a 10mm thick spine and kidney pads protecting the back and reducing water movement. 8" ankle zippers with Pinnacle's chimney seal system and O-ring wrist seals and Orca-skin forearm gussets also add to the suits warmth, Is Durabilityimportant? This suit is as strong as the best of them with its Kevlar kneepads mounted to Small Diamond leg panels virtually eliminate wear and tear in high-friction areas, molded rubber shoulder pads protect diver and suit as well as help keep BC in position All zippers are equipped with marine grade brass zipper sliders and pulls, and all seams are double glued and blind stitched with reinforcing stress disks at all internal seam intersections.

The Good - Bad - Ugly

Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Polar 7mm Semi-Dry Jumpsuit Womens:

I'm writing this because I wish someone had written it before I bought this suit. Please note I never dove with this suit - we never got that far.

The good: This is a high quality semi dry suit made for serious cold water. The workmanship and materials are excellent. I have no doubt in right setting this suit is probably as good as it gets for semi-dry cold water diving

The bad: If you know what you want the suit for and you have help to get it on you probably will love this suit. It's a high quality suit. The suit is quite heavy and stiff but once inside you know your in something extremely warm and durable. Five stars for quality and warmth.

The ugly: How can anybody get in this suit alone? I have a large upper body and I had a hard time sueezing into the 2XL. By the time you get the neck baffle on its impossible (for me) to get the flap to lie flat in the back. Unless your a contortionest its terrible trying to put this thing on. The material is thick and heavy and it does not give much. Once you get your arms in (which is a struggle) you have to deal with the zipper. I could not close the zipper, and I was worried if I tugged any harder I'd rip something.

My opinion: High quality suit for a serious cold water diver. As long as you have help to get the suit on it's an awesome suit. If you have to put it on yourself lol.
