The Merino-Evolution Undergarment is the dry suit undergarment incorporating the wonders of Merino. This undergarment is intended for use in the coldest waters of the world. The Merino lining not only keeps you warm in frigid temperatures, but it also is soft and comfortable, breathable, and wicks perspiration away from your body. It is perfect for use in waters from 50°F to below-freezing. This undergarment can be worn with any brand dry suit, and has many features to increase comfort in the coldest diveconditions under and above the water. Outer shell is made of rip-stop nylon which is not only durable, but stops wind when you are on the surface. Center layer of Thinsulate provides warmth and wicks moisture away from you. The Internal layer of Merino lining adds more warmth, wicks away perspiration, and is extremely comfortable. This undergarment is also Machine washable. The garment hasneoprene ankle and wrist cuffs allowing easy dry suit donning and they keep moisture away from the insulation. Arms vents allow perspiration to escape.

I ordered a small size since I fitted nicely into a small pinnacle drysuit. However, the small for the undergarment was way too tight, and thanks to the exchange policy from LP, I got a size bigger. Just dove in Carmel for some deep diving and the water was 48F/9C. I have almost no body fat and get cold easily. My buddy who was wearing a wet suit got cold quickly. While I could feel how cold the water was on my face, the undergarment kept me warm enough where the water temperature didn't bother me.

Before purchased this undergarmet we had a lot of dive shops and websites that do not sell this product, tell us why the merino was a bad idea. However, every personal review we read said that it was great. The reviews are correct. This undergarment is warm and comfortable. I did not want to take it off after the dive. I worried it would be too hot, but that was not the case. We are happy warm divers with the Merino Evolution undergarments.
