The Merino-Elastiprene 5 represents a revolutionary breakthrough in wetsuit design! This is a truly high-stretch wetsuit that still provides superior insulation. The M-E 5 provides more flexibility and sizing latitude than most traditional 3mm suits, yet is as warm as many 7mm suits. It is also the first high-stretch suit to incorporate Pinancle's famous Merino lining system, which not only adds warmth, but also promotes quick drying after a dive and helps to reduce odors. At the same time, the Merino-Elastiprene 5 is built to last, as durable as all Pinnacle suits. This suit is the obvious choice for highly discerning divers who want the best temperate water suit available.

King 1 is the height of a Medium Large and Large Short, but the weight falls between a 3XL and a 4XL. The actual range is 5'9" to 6' tall and between 290 and 320 pounds.

King 2 is the approximate height of a Large and XL Short and the weight of a XXXL. The actual range is 5'10" to 6'1" tall and between 240 and 275 pounds.

This suit is awesome. Just completed my first dives in it with temps between 55-59 F. I was actually very warm throughout the entire dive. No cold chills at all. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when you zip the back zipper it is a little hard when you get close to the neck because of the neck seal. The seals are excellent. This suit is just about perfect.

Dove this suit for the first time today. My computer said the max water temperature was 49F. With hood and gloves, I felt warm through two dives. I am very happy with the warmth of the suit.

Comfortable, very stretchy, excellent seals, fairly easy to don/doff considering its 5mm, never hot in the boat or in the water. The only downside I see after a week of use in 81F water are velcro snags around the waist - watch that BCD belt closure.

I had a 3mm Pinnacle Merino Fusion which is a version of this suit with less stretchy neoprene and with traditional ankle seals. The suit was warm but I needed help to get the blasted thing over my feet especially when it was wet.

This suit feels like it's a 2nd skin and the ankle zippers make it just incredibly easy to doff and don. As with the Fusion the merino lining adds about a mm of warmth.

This is the best wetsuit I have ever owned. The lining makes doffing and donning very easy, and it is extremely flexible. The fit is right on, and it feels warmer than my old 5mm suit. I have worn it on two occasions, both times in Lake Tahoe, and I was very comfortable.

I use it in the warmer months in Hawaii. For those of you who are laughing at the amount of mm, and location... I have only dove Hawaii and Fiji, and a 5mm in 80 deg. water is perfect for me. :-D

A little bit small for size, go a full size bigger. Leisure pro has the best exchange policy compared to other sites. It costs nothing to return an item for exchange so don't worry if the size does not comfortably fit.

Some people think I'm nuts wearing a full 5mm Pinnacle, diving in 80 degree water, but after 90 minutes they are cold and I'm still toasty warm.
I can flush cooler water in if I'm warm, but they can't put thicker suits when they get cold.
Then again, if you're only doing 20 min dives, a shorty is fine.

This is the best suit I've used in over 40 years of diving. It is comfortable and as wet suits go, easy to don and doff. The lining keeps the water from moving and makes this suit warmer than any other I have used. Construction quality is good and this suit feels as warm as any 7 mil suit I've used and a lot more flexable. A little costly for a 5 mil suit and worth every penny! Very comfortable suit with excellent mobility, provides same level of movement as a much thinner suit. Nice and warm (I dive in 12-18 degree celcius water) ... and I plan to add the 3mm torso option for the winter.
The most comftable dive suit I have ever used.
Being a one piece let me drop a about 9 pound off the weight belt too!

This is by far the best wetsuit that I have ever owned. Although I dive in tropical climates, I get cold very easily. This suit does a wonderful job! It is much better than the 3mm 2-piece that it replaces!

Very satisfactory free diving 50-60 degree water with hooded vest, gloves, booties. Much easier to put on, and smaller to pack, compared to previous 6.5mm 2-piece wetsuit, and took 9 pounds off my weight belt (25-->16). Stretchy material balloons with water while swimming, but still warm enough.
