I had heard a lot of great things about Pinnacle, and everyone is confused about their split with Zeagle, but this suit delivers. Extremely warm for a 3mil, great seals, a nice thick spine pad, and durable exterior make it the best suit I've ever used. Hopefully the company will stay in business and keep producing their wonderful product.
I will say that the sizes run a bit small. I'm a size Small in Henderson/Scubapro, but a Medium in Pinnacle sizes. Out of the box the suit was about 8lbs positively buoyant, but I am not sure how much that will change with compression.

So my dad and I each bought a M/E 3 and this review is for the other one. See my other review for comments. It's a steal.

Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
I purchased 4 of these wetsuits for my dive centre staff, 2 each 3mm and 5mm. One of the 5mm was not Merino lined as it was not in stock in the required size. All staff were measured carefully as we are not in the continental USA [...] The suits for all three persons were at least 1 if not 2 sizes too small. We had to return every suit [...] this time having selected suits two sizes bigger (according to the size chart they should be way too big for us), the suits fitted OK.Second time out on one of the 3mm (mens), the zipper broke. Returned to Zeagle (another US[$] in shipping) and they REPAIRED the zipper on a wetsuit less than two weeks old [...].We have now had these suits about 4 months and have had almost every suit suffer zipper failures.Even though the suits are washed evey time they are used they look faded and worn after just 4 months (sea use not pool). The suits these replaced were generic chinese wetsuits (branded Procella) cheap as chips, and they lasted almost 4 years in daily use (we run a resort dive centre in the Caribbean). These wetsuits are expensive, poorly made, incorrectly sized and wear very quickly. I regret purchasing them and will look elsewhere for our next staff wetsuits.

The fit was way off even though I did all the measurements and followed the fitting chart. The suit arrived and would not fit properly.

Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
First, I own a 7mm Bare Elastek Suit which offers more maneuverability than this suit does. The Elastek suit is also much more comfortable having that "second skin" feeling.
Back to this suit, however. I didn't like this suit for a few reasons. It definitely traps too much air which caused me to increase my weight from my normal 10 pounds to 18 pounds. I just could not sink in this suit. This obviously caused me to burn through air a little faster than I'd like.
It can't be a bad suit as mostly all the reviews I've seen on this site are positive, but among the divemasters and instructors I've talked to, none would use this suit with any regularity.

Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
I had a difficult time with the sizing initially. I suggest ordering a size up on this suit. It does not have the same athletic cut that BARE offers, but hands down this suit is the best. If you want to purchase an all around 3mm suit, go no further. This suit is well made and appears that will last a long time. The merino lining truly ties the package up with a bow. This lining really "heats up" the water in the suit allowing for the warmest suit in the market.
My only complaint is the fit around the arms. I work out and found it difficult to get this suit over my arms. This was an initial concern, but after diving the suit it gave me enough stretch that I was never bothered with the fit again.
Wish I had purchased this suit before my BARE 5mm, since this suit is much warmer and would have saved me the money at the end of the day. Live and learn...
Happy diving!!

I starter diving in 1968 for a Chicago Rescue Unit.
Ran dive ops on Cayman for 10 years. I've made over 6k dives. This is the best suit I have ever used/owned.
Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
The only con - at first - was the "awkard fit." The only problem with this suit is the sizing. The first suit that was delivered was too small. I contacted Pinnacle and they honestly admitted that the Merino-Elastiprene 3mm suit was "real tight fit" (especially in the chest) and that it was an issue they were aware of and would be correcting. As such, I returned the suit to LeisurePro and exchanged it for one size larger and it fit perfectly. There are a lot of nice features to this wet suit, like the reinforced knee pads (which are real nice if you spearfish around the rigs) and the back zipper pad. I really appreciated the professional attitude of Pinnacle [...]

Very comfortable and extremely warm. Just did 8 dives in Florida in 70-degree water (maybe a little colder at the bottom). Others were complaining about the cold; I was warm as toast.
Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
I am 6'2" and weigh 174 lbs. I ordered a large and an XL. I liked the way the suit is designed and it appeared to be very well constructed. Unfortunatly I had to return both suits. I have a 34" inseam and both were too tight in the crotch. Great suit, just did not fit. I am going to a custom suit.
Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
I had a 3mm Pinnacle Merino Seal which is a version of this suit with less stretchy neoprene and with traditional ankle seals. The suit was warm but I needed help to get the blasted thing over my feet especially when it was wet.
This suit feels like it's a 2nd skin and the ankle zippers make it just incredibly easy to doff and don. As with the Seal the merino lining adds about a mm of warmth.
Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
Be careful when you order because the size charts are a little short. Over looking the charts I should of neeeded an XL and ended up with a XXL.Other than that its a real confortable suit you can feel the quality just by touching it. I went to Mexico to try it and when we all came out of the water all the other divers were cold except me with my pinnacle 3mm. It really keeps you warm.
Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
This suit is totally amazing! It is much warmer, lighter, and thinner than another customed made 3mm suit I previous used. I used to get very chilled around 27 degree Celciuswith my old suit + a 2.5mm vest. With the Pinnacle ME3MM, I extend my tolerance down to 26 degree Celcius WITHOUT the 2.5mm vest.
It is very stretchy, so it's tollerant to all kinds of body shape (I'm short with big muscles). Walking around with it fully zipped up does not feel uncomfortable at all.
In the water, there is almost no water flowing in and out, EXCEPT from the end of the back zipper near the waist, which is the only weak seal spot I can feel. PINNACLE, if you're reading this post, please find out where the leak spot is...

I was impressed by the ease to put it on or off.
It is really warm for a 3mm.
Quality / finish look impressive.
Nice choice of sizes (not only S/M/L/XL...)
Worth the price.

comfortable fit, great for warmer water
Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
I have another brand heavy suit 7/5 that is just TOO warm for Florida and it is somewhat constrictive. So I bought this suit and man do I love it. It is super easy to get on and off; wet or dry. I typically dive with it when the water temps are about 66-76 degrees. When it gets in the lower range I wear a hooded vest under it. Very durable, especially as rough as I am on it. Highly recommend.
Leisurepro was great, I called them and got a great deal. Service has always been superb from them.

Great wetsuit. Easy on - easy off even when wet. Used in the tropics but I'll buy the thicker version for New England summers.
