The Lycra Skin is a versatile product, equally suited for use as a warm water suit or as an under suit used with a wetsuit or a Shorty. When used as an under suit it makes any wet suit slide on easier, the high stretch Lycia material fits a large range of sizes and shapes. Thumb and ankle stirrups allow easy donning of wetsuit over the skin and do not allow skin to "bunch-up". Two-way front zipper, flattering sleek all-black color, packs up very small and light for travel, and provides a hygienic barrier when worn under a rental suit, makes the Lycra skin a great travel buddy.

I purchased this to use as a base layer under a wetsuit. Plain black was all I wanted. It's not shiny. I didn't want extra color either. It aids in putting on or taking off a 7mm cold water wetsuit. I'll never wear this on it's own, only for layering. I upsized and should have heeded the pinnacle sizing chart. It is very accurate. I'd recommend this item. Well constructed whereever it is made.

I am 6'6" and athletic build. I weigh 250 so I felt like it was hard to find a skin that was long enough in the legs and arms and not to large in chest and waist. I bought the 2XL and it fits well. I feel that the 3XL would have been too big around my mid section. The zipper feels a little short for my height so pulls a little, but not a deal breaker at all. Its comfortable.
