This suit is very warm, but it is extremely hard to get on and off. It's almost like some kind of torture. l had to more than double my weight l carry, because of the thickness of the suit. lt is tight around the chest and neck and arms on me and l am pretty skinny. l think l would like it more if the hood wasn't made to it. Oh yeah, you better get some good ankle weights too unless you like your feet above your head.l has a pinnacle polar ,l liked it better, but it was damaged and l sent it back. They didn't have another one in my size. Probably best to save your money for a dry suit.

I'll be honest, it does take time to learn how to don and doff. The trick is making sure you pull it up all the way. The suit is warm and comfortable. My local diving haunts are 37-38 degrees year round at a depth of 100ft. I’m comfortable diving to my NDL at this depth and milling my way to the surface to a TDT up to 40+ minutes. In this suit you could stay all day in water that is 48-50 degrees…no problem. Right around 45 degrees is where I personally feel as if I’ve entered cold water. Finally I’ve never felt the zipper was uncomfortable.

IT'S A GREAT SUIT .I RELY ON MY LUNGS FOR BOUYANCY (I ALMOST NEVER USE MY B.C. WHILE DIVING 10 TO 80 FEET ) , SO THE CHEST AREA ALLOWS FOR GREAT CHEST EXPANSION ( IF SIZE IS CORRECT ).IT SLIPS ON EASY . BUT WENE GETTING OFF , YOU NEED TO PULL THE CHEST AREA DOWN TO THE GROIN TO GET ARMS OUT . THE ZIPPER IS REAL STIFF . AFTER PLAYING WITH IT FOR A WHOLE DAY I GOT GOOD AT WORKING THE ZIPPER WITH ONLY ONE HAND . I ALSO PUT A LONGER LEASH ON THE ZIPPER TO EASE THE DIFFICULTY.

This suit is GREAT!! Warm and Light. The suit really envolopes you. You really have to pay attention to pulling the suit all the way up, starting at the knees otherwise the zipper is a real chore to do up. I can now easily do the zipper with one hand and get the inner neck guard all straight on my shoulders and neck. This is a serious suit!! I would recommend it to an avid cold water diver not wanting to get into a drysuit.

Last weekend I went Ice diving and brought this suit instead of my drysuit. I was worried at first but said what the heck. It was amazing! the suit worked like a charm only after 40 min. in the water did i begin to feel any water in the suit. It was a snap to put on and take off.

I LOVE IT, I HATE IT. THE ONLY THING THIS SUIT HAS GOING FOR IT IS. IT'LL KEEP YOU NICE AND WARM. BUT THAT STIFF ZIPPER RUINS EVERYTHING! CHECK OUT THE 7MIL PINNACLE POLAR, OR SPEND A LITTLE MORE FOR A FULL DRYSUIT. THE ZIPPER ON THE POLAR IS NOT AS STIFF, BUT IT ALSO HAS SOME DONNING/ DOFFING ISSUES. BUT ZIPPER FLOWS SOMEWHAT, WHERE AS EXTREME DOESN'T, I WOULDN'T GO COLDER THAN 40F WITH THE POLAR.
THE EXTREME IS A REAL #%&*@ TO GET ON, ARMS ARE TOO TIGHT AND TOO NARROW IN SHOULDERS, YOUR BUDDY WILL CRINGE EVERYTIME YOU ASK FOR HELP WITH THAT STIFF ZIPPER, IT'S ALMOST A 3 MAN JOB. THE STIFF ZIPPER ALSO SEVERLY RESTRICTS ARM MOVEMENT TERRIBLY. WHICH COULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE FOR RECOVERING A REGULATOR.
OK, FINALLY THE GOOD, THIS SUIT IS WARM, I'VE BEEN IN 33F DEGREE WATER FOR 30 MINUTES, AND WAS WARM, COULD HAVE STAYED IN LONGER BUT HANDS AND FEET GOT COLD. TO DO IT AGAIN, I WOULD BUY A 7/5 REARZIP SUIT,AND HOOD FOR 50F+, AND A DRY SUIT FOR THE COLD.
